These people are scammers, and selling bad cars. My Daughter purchase a vehicle for the first time with them that was just a piece of crap , they keep running this business scamming everyone. I seen all the bad reviews! This business continues to practice bad business and dont take responsibility for their actions!,,,,They have no care for other human beings-they advertised their cars with the incorrect information to sell the vehicle- This is call working in bad Faith ! I will seek additional help from the State of Florida for their Business practices and definitely will be reporting them to the BBB. More
BEWARE. James & James jr Thistle are lying scam artist without an ounce of dignity or self respect. They tried to sell me a car which was advertised as a rebuilt titled car in excellent condition. I drove without an ounce of dignity or self respect. They tried to sell me a car which was advertised as a rebuilt titled car in excellent condition. I drove close to 4 hours and when I got there I was lied to and scammed by the son and father to the point that I had to call the cops because I opened the title envelope and looked at the title which they buried under a bunch of worthless paperwork to hide the fact and seen that it was a salvage certificate meaning the car couldn't be registered only to be used for parts. On top of everything else the cars transmission was blown. I demanded my money which was sitting on the dining room table since I didn't drive the car anywhere or take it off their property figuring that this wasn't a legit transaction since we didn't sign or exchange any paperwork and the son ran in the house and locked the door. I then called the cops to have this on record and explain the situation and they told me legally they couldn't arrest him at that point but they would come to court on my behalf cause clearly he stole money and scammed me. I didn't know who these people were then but once I looked them up and found out they have been doing this for years and had to change their business name from "Cavier cars" to the current name cause of lawsuits and pressure from the better business bureau I was very upset with myself for not inquiring more to who I was dealing with. I can't go into how abusive he was toward his wife and kid while I was there and how uncomfortable it made us and how disgusting his house was with dog and cat feces all over everything and everywhere to the point that my girl wanted to call child protective services and get his girl and child into a shelter to save them from this clearly abusive man. I'm amazed that Brevard county is allowing these criminals to conduct illegitimate business with impunity on there watch and nothing is being done to stop it. My point in mentioning this is if James Thistle Sr and Jr's own family can't trust them, than why would you! More
