We had an issue with the key sticking in our ignition and made contact with Subaru of America (SoAm) first. We found that SoAm was aware of the problem and provided an extended warranty specifically for thi made contact with Subaru of America (SoAm) first. We found that SoAm was aware of the problem and provided an extended warranty specifically for this correction. SoAm provided us with a case number and then called the dealer directly to coordinate our repair. All repair work was completed by the dealer at no cost. While that is more a reflection of SoAm, while the car was at the dealer we got the dreaded call of "we recommend this work also be done..." Some I already knew and even had parts for at home, replacing the differential fluid was unexpected but I know I never would have thought of it - ever. We got it done due to their inspection. I believe that service at the dealership costs more than other auto repair shops, and I believe that we probably did overpay for this specific service, it was there so we went with it and saved the hassle of a separate trip elsewhere for this maintenance work. Work that I would have likely never had done if we hadn't taken the vehicle in here. More

I did not feel welcome or valued. I waited 1 1/4 hours for what was essentially an oil change and had to call from the waiting room to find out if the car was ready. My earlier text to Juan was ignored. although I was sitting at the dealership, my husband was emailed about the work being completed, and this was AFTER I had picked the car up. No-one went through the details of the work with me, or barely spoke to me. More
