WARNING TO WOMEN CONSIDERING FOOTHILLS MAZDA: BE AWARE OF PREDATORY SALES TACTICS. My wife is nearing the end of her second lease with Foothills Mazda. Her first experience was positive, but over the past PREDATORY SALES TACTICS. My wife is nearing the end of her second lease with Foothills Mazda. Her first experience was positive, but over the past year something has clearly changed in the way this dealership treats customers, especially women. Throughout 2025, my wife worked with several different salespeople, including most recently Marcus Milich. Across these interactions, the patterns were consistent: misleading information, dismissive treatment, and what I can only describe as predatory sales tactics. At one point, she was offered a specific deal that was then walked back during signing, with “tariffs” given as the explanation, even though the dealership’s own website specifically stated that tariffs were not affecting prices at that time. Several salespeople also made inappropriate personal invitations, and she was spoken to in a condescending way whenever she asked questions about numbers or terms. During our most recent visit, Marcus Milich presented paperwork for a premium model while trying to sell us a base model. When my wife questioned this, he insisted the two were “the same.” After she pressed for the correct paperwork, the price dropped. This same pattern repeated multiple times: inaccurate paperwork, denial, and suddenly lower numbers once she insisted on accuracy. Two days after our appointment with Marcus Milich, my wife discovered her driver’s license was missing. When we called the dealership, we were told it had been sitting on Marcus’s desk the entire time. He had no trouble texting her before the appointment, but apparently notifying her about her ID was no longer worth his time after he lost the sale. This level of unprofessionalism was the final confirmation that we made the right decision to take our business elsewhere. Foothills Mazda is losing my wife’s long-term business because of these repeated experiences. The pattern of misleading information, unprofessional behavior, and dismissive treatment is unacceptable. At this point, she does not feel comfortable going there alone, and I believe others deserve to be aware of these issues before choosing to shop here. More
⭐ 1-Star Review — Buyer Beware at Knudtsen Foothills Mazda (Spokane, WA) We drove nearly 680 miles to see a 2023 Infiniti QX80 we found online. Before making the trip, I asked all the right questions Mazda (Spokane, WA) We drove nearly 680 miles to see a 2023 Infiniti QX80 we found online. Before making the trip, I asked all the right questions — accident history, title status, ownership, mechanical issues, and whether they could send the Carfax. The salesman, Joe Diamond, told us it was a clean-title, one-owner family trade-in with no issues and that they’d have the Carfax ready when we arrived. When we got there, the first thing we asked for was the Carfax — but we were told the “system was down.” That excuse repeated several times throughout our visit, even when we sat down with the finance rep, Cody. During the test drive, we noticed a cracked windshield and later discovered severe rock damage all across the front end. After insisting again for the Carfax, we finally learned the truth: the vehicle was a former rental from Canada, not the “one-owner” family trade they claimed. When I confronted the sales manager (who is no longer with the company), he shrugged and said, “What do you want me to do about it?” This dealership misled us about the car’s history, ownership, and condition. After a 680-mile drive, that’s a tough and expensive lesson to learn. If you value honesty, transparency, or professionalism, look elsewhere — this experience was a complete disappointment. More

This is only the second time I've been there since it sold to new owners. I see a lot of new faces. I will reserve judgment. I was treated well, the service was good and done properly. As an added s sold to new owners. I see a lot of new faces. I will reserve judgment. I was treated well, the service was good and done properly. As an added service, an exterior wash would be nice. People watch where you come from, and leaving a dealership in a clean vehicle will leave a good impression. You never know where your next customer may come from.Something as simple as a clean car could bring someone to your property. Thank you. Ted Olson More
Part of the purchase and sale was that they do a meticulous detail and remove smell. The smell remains. They cleaned the vehicle but just a vacuum and wipe down, did not shampoo carpet, left hair meticulous detail and remove smell. The smell remains. They cleaned the vehicle but just a vacuum and wipe down, did not shampoo carpet, left hair build-up and did not steam clean engine bay. My fault, I should not have purchased before that was completed. Was told the brakes were like new but upon taking to the shop the next day - the rear brakes are within 1mm of needing replacing, I have followed up about them honoring/covering this issue and they refuse to get back to me.
