Went to have humming wheel bearing evaluated on my 2018 AWD Highlander. Needed to have passenger wheel bearing replaced, but serviced department decided to replace the hub bearing assembly part number 4241 AWD Highlander. Needed to have passenger wheel bearing replaced, but serviced department decided to replace the hub bearing assembly part number 42410-0e031 since it is easier to replace rather than just the wheel bearing. My extreme disappointment is related to what they charged me do this job. They charged me 516.69 for the hub part that has a MSRP of 381.97 on Toyota parts from Fox Toyota website, which is a 35% markup. Plus they charged me $450 labor for a 30 min to hour job. After expressing my disappointment with Chuck Brintnall, service tech he did give me a 10 % labor and parts discount, $96.67, but I still feel $870.02 is very over priced for the service I received. I have decided to take my car to another place for service. I can not recommend Fox Toyota in Clinton TN any longer. We have bought many cars and having them serviced at Fox Toyota many years, since the business was sold it is not the same. Disappointed More

Fox sold me a used car and warranty. 6 months after purchase, I took the car in for repairs and check engine light. I was told the car was bad and to trade out it. After refusing another 6 months after purchase, I took the car in for repairs and check engine light. I was told the car was bad and to trade out it. After refusing another down payment so soon, I was told the car was fine! It was just 2 quarts low in oil. 7 days after the warranty expired, the ti.ing chain broke destroying the motor. Fox has not agreed to put a new motor in the car nor helped me get into another vehicle. I've been told there's nothing more they can do for me so now I have $7800 in negative equity on a vehicle needing $11k in repairs. Combines have been filed with the BBB of East Tn and TN Dept of Consumer Affairs. Buyer Beware!! More

Yesterdays diagnostics was that we had a driver side cv boot leak, today after 3 plus hours of waiting they replaced the cv boot on the passenger side, which didn’t fix the problem we brought it in for. Curious why the diagnosis was for the driver side and they replaced the passenger side??? Jonathan suggested that even if they replaced the rotor he couldn’t guarantee it would fix the problem. What the heck is $86 worth of diagnostics for if they can’t pin point the problem or guarantee their work? We called Johnny the service manager and have heard nothing back from him. I am 66 years old and have not in my 50 years of car purchasing been treated more respectfully, or more curtesy. My wife and I went to 5 dealerships and had no such treatment at the others. I called Fox Toyota service department in Clinton, Tn. On April 15, 2022 just for a factory recall and oil change. I was told that my vin number was no good.
