This company is the definition of a big corporation that hides behind policy instead of solving problems. As a result, Wells Fargo, one of the largest banks in the country, rejected the check. I was leaving town for 10 days over the holidays and had to spend hours on the phone—twice—on a three-way call between the dealership and Wells Fargo. The bank advised them to stop payment and issue an ACH or wire since the Federal Reserve had flagged the check. The dealership claimed “it’s never happened before,” yet refused to take any meaningful action. Now I’m out of the country, they have my vehicle, and I have no money. Their only “solution” is for me to bring back the rejected check in person once it’s mailed to me—absurd, considering they created the issue in the first place. The arrogance and lack of empathy are astounding. This isn’t my first problem with Fred Anderson Automotive Group, but it will absolutely be my last. They’ve built a shiny new building, but the customer service inside is cold, rigid, and indifferent. A good company shows its character by going above and beyond—and Fred Anderson Automotive Group failed miserably. They do not care about their customers, only their processes. Stay far far away. More

After two days of three-way calls with my bank, Wells Fargo clearly told them to stop payment and send an ACH or wire instead. They knew the situation and Leadership here is cold, rigid, and indifferent. They dragged me along for two days, even asked for my banking info, which made me think they’d finally do the right thing—then refused to take action. They have my car, I have no money, and their only “solution” is for me to return a bad check in person after I get back in the country in 10 days. This is my second major issue with Fred Anderson Automotive Group and I will never do business with them again. Stay far away. More
