I own a Chrystler, purchased at a different dealership. I've gone to Fred Bean's dealerships in the past for service and they had done a satisfactory job. Keep in mind, the only reason I went with Beans I've gone to Fred Bean's dealerships in the past for service and they had done a satisfactory job. Keep in mind, the only reason I went with Beans to get my tires on is because I needed my oil changed (purchased the "4 for $75" oil change deal). I first contacted Beans on a Thursday. After calling in the morning and not receiving a call back, I tried again around mid-day. The secretary informed me they would give me a call back as soon as possible, as they were "really busy" that day. Fair enough, I waited another five hours without a call back. I decided to call back and finally had an appointment set for Monday, pending the tires being delivered. I purchased two tires (after comparing prices with a competitor, Bean's was about $100 more per). The service associate informed me it would take approximately an hour and a half to get the tires on and change the oil, etc. Two hours go by without a call back, so I made a call to the same service assistant who informed me that not only was the job not complete but that the tires hadn't even been DELIVERED to the dealership yet. It's one thing that there was a "mistake" in ordering the tires but to not inform the customer as soon as your realized the error is pathetic. Furious, I waited another two hours with no call back. Same story, dialed up the dealership and again was informed me that the work wasn't complete but that it would be done within the hour as the tires had been delivered. Wait an hour, no callback. At that point I went in to the dealership with the intentions to take my car whether it was done or not. After waiting 15 minutes to be helped I was given my keys and directed to the front parking lot to pick up my car. It was no where to be seen, I then walked back in to the service center. After waiting at one of the service desks without being helped I stormed out and found the car myself in the back lot. Not that this is a huge deal, but it basically summed up my experience at Beans. Don't get me wrong, the people at the dealership were and always have been relatively friendly. But as for professionalism? Fred Beans Dodge is the worst dealership I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Waiting a whole day without a call back to make an appointment? Waiting five hours for work that could be done in as less as one? Ridiculous. Although I do still have one oil change left I have no intentions of EVER going back to this dealership for ANYTHING. You would think that in such tough economic times there would be a little more urgency from Beans to satisfy their customers in the fastest possible time. There's too many fine dealerships in the greater Philly area to wasted your time and money at Fred Beans Dodge Chrysler Jeep. More
This was my sixth vehicle purchased from the Fred Beans organization and my first from the Dodge dealership. Chris Maine was the salesman and was very friendly and even came in on his day off 2 separate ti organization and my first from the Dodge dealership. Chris Maine was the salesman and was very friendly and even came in on his day off 2 separate times to accommodate my schedule. After brief negotiation they had my numbers right where i needed them to be. The most praise goes to the finance manager Ron Staszak who to my shock was able to re-instate a bunch of points that i had let expire over the years totaling a whopping $640 in accumulated dollars that got applied to the bottom line! These points were not only old, but scattered at various other Fred Beans locations. Chris was also helpful in finding that info initially. My truck was delivered when promised and was shiny and gassed up as well. Thanks to all involved in another positive car buying experience! More
I came to Fred Beans Dodge to buy a new Charger and to my surprise I was greeted in a very professional manner, offered a number of choices and got financing that beat my credit union by a full two points. surprise I was greeted in a very professional manner, offered a number of choices and got financing that beat my credit union by a full two points. Yanni really knew his product and showed me features that I was totally unaware. Yanni introduced me to their service department and again everybody was very professional. Yanni continues to be in contact with me to make sure that I don't have any questions concerning the features of my new Charger. This has been a very pleasureable experience and would definitely recommend Fred Beans Dodge and Yanni to anyone considering purchasing a new or used vehicle. More
What a mess this place is. I bought a 2010 wrangler unlimited. 7 weeks after purchase still had no registration. I contacted the dealer and it was discovered that it was never processed it sat in a sta unlimited. 7 weeks after purchase still had no registration. I contacted the dealer and it was discovered that it was never processed it sat in a stack of paperwork as admitted to me by the manager. I am now at 13 weeks and still have no registration. I contacted the dealer today and they essentially made a joke of it when I did not find it funny I was told "Wow you really don't have a sense of humor do you?" Every person I talk to to tells me " I will contact so and so and get back to you." Well no answers at all zero, zilch, nada. The only funny thing about it is 1 month after this purchase I purchased another 2010 unlimited for myself (the first was for my wife) and fred beans was not even a consideration for the sale. So due to their unprofessional conduct they lost out on a sale from a reliable buyer with income to spend. There is zero chance I would ever consider them to receive 1 additional dollar of my hard earned money ever again. Also of interest is that their sale associates don't really know their product. All I drive is jeep vehicles and while negotiating price the salesman tried feeding me a line on what parts like hardtops etc. cost, he had no clue. If you do ever buy a jeep wrangler from this dealer buy the cheapest one they have and go to quadratec in west chester for the parts you did not feel like grossly overpaying for at fred beans. It is amazing to me in this economy that a business that operates like they do can survive. They are a poor representation of the Jeep Brand. DC should not allow them to sell their product.I would not trust these folks to run a lemonade stand. More
