I had a wonderful experience purchasing my vehicle from Fred Beans. I already owned a Subaru and had been taking it to the service department there for the past year, and have really been won over by thei Fred Beans. I already owned a Subaru and had been taking it to the service department there for the past year, and have really been won over by their professionalism. So when I decided to trade in, I was already pretty set on buying from Fred Beans. Terry Hooper was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. I felt that he listened and was patient while I took my time making my decision. I am so happy in my 2012 Subaru Forester with All-Weather Package! I was really happy with the appraisal value they gave me on my trade-in. (I got an appraisal elsewhere and the offered me a few thousand less.) Overall I feel that I got a really fair deal, and I got exactly what I wanted in a vehicle - no buyers remorse! I think the success of the Fred Beans sales team is that they are genuinely interested in their customers' longterm satisfaction over making an immediate sale. All my experiences so far at Fred Beans have made me a loyal customer. I highly recommend going there if you want to buy a Subaru, or getting your car serviced there if you already have a Subaru. Drove down from the Lehigh Valley in late Nov '11(black Friday) to test drive a Nissan Rogue at Fred Beans. Didn't like that car, so went around the corner to test drive a new Outback again. I fell for the Friday) to test drive a Nissan Rogue at Fred Beans. Didn't like that car, so went around the corner to test drive a new Outback again. I fell for the car and made the deal easily, in fact, it was the easiest car purchase I'd ever made. They didn't have the car I wanted in stock, so I ordered one. Car came in mid-January. The only negative was that apparently they block emails from gmail accounts, so I did have to call with any questions or changes I had. Todd was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and called a few days after I got home with the car to be sure everything was well and asking if I needed anything. I sold my old car myself and secured my own financing, so I can't speak to that side of things. Wish I could get my car serviced there too!! The discount book to local vendors is nice and the reward points they give for servicing your car at Beans is great if you live in the area. More
Once the terms of a purchase (with trade-in) had been agreed to, the financial manager changed the terms of the deal by refusing to recognize the final trade-ip value that had been negotiated, and by a agreed to, the financial manager changed the terms of the deal by refusing to recognize the final trade-ip value that had been negotiated, and by adding dealer-prep items that had earlier been waived (such as window etching). Thoroughly disappointed with the length of time Dan took to negotiate a sale. Rather than counter-offering or making any real attempts to get me back on his lot, he diluted his sale by providing other, susp to negotiate a sale. Rather than counter-offering or making any real attempts to get me back on his lot, he diluted his sale by providing other, suspicious options and going silent for days at a time. Our questions regarding vehicle history were avoided, as were our offers to negotiate. For better or worse, he sold the car just as my patience wore thin. What a waste of time. More
