It is with great regret that I am even writing this review. I will start off by saying that I live 40 minutes away from Galaxy Toyota. However, I live 5 minutes away from Gateway Toyota. This is import review. I will start off by saying that I live 40 minutes away from Galaxy Toyota. However, I live 5 minutes away from Gateway Toyota. This is important to the story because I traveled out of my way to go to Galaxy, because of a previously enjoyable experience. My second experience has been much different to say the very least. I will start off with the good points - Greg Moore. Continues to be a gentleman, excellent salesman with respect for not only his customers but his career as well. Comes off as a genuine soul. I bought my 2nd 4Runner in 2021 from him. He is why I traveled 40 minutes to Eatontown to go to Galaxy to purchase my newest and 3rd 4Runner and did NOT stay in Toms River and go to Gateway. However, I purchased my 3rd 4Runner from Greg Moore at Galaxy Toyota. Our personal transaction was fine. I was told during our test drive that the truck was being driven by a staff member as a demo vehicle. Which - at that time meant nothing to me. It was a conversation of small talk because I was interested in the vehicle and it was not there the weekend prior..... but because.... this staff member had been driving it. Greg was able to obtain the vehicle from the staff member. That being said, since I purchased the vehicle, I have been filling the rear passenger tire with air since I left the lot. Originally, I thought - (day 1) Perhaps it was the cooler weather, they dont sit there and monitor the tires on a brand new vehicle. A few days later... I got another low pressure alert on my dash. I filled it again. Emailed Galaxy that I found this odd. Didn’t understand why a new tire would be leaking immediately. mentioned that maybe that staff member hit a nail since he had been driving it. i did not hear back. A few days after this, I emailed YET again because I was - again, filling my low pressure alert. I never got an email back, but I received a call from Service saying "yah bring the truck in, we will definitely fix that... you should not already be having an issue". I thought ok, cool. They will deal with this. Very respectable. WRONG. I got there. And I was given a bill for 341 dollars for a brand new tire…. Because… there was a NAIL IN THE TIRE!!! I let them know, that I should not have to pay for someone else’s nail… the tire has been doing this since day one. Tony, the floor/sales manager, nice guy but tries to do the “you pulled off the lot with the vehicle” kinda guy. Mike from service - super nice guy. Very easy and straight forward. Erica from service - respectful, kind and very sweet. Miguel - Service sales manager I believe - talk about dodging calls. He wouldn’t pick up the phone. Was told “he’s right here”….. to “ohhh yah know I think he is busy”…. Maybe he was the driver that was demoing that vehicle who is responsible for the nail…. Because he does not want to deal with any kind of issues. It’s very sad, that over a 341 dollar tire, that whoever was driving before me…, i am told “well you probably did this not us”. What??? Excuse me? I absolutely regret ever going back to Galaxy Toyota, I will never purchase another vehicle again from them. I do not recommend them…: unless you want to be master manipulated into paying for their mistakes on a figure of their lack of accountability. They should NOT be allowed to just drive brand new vehicles as leisure. And this is exactly why!!! Disgusting ethics, terrible way to run a business…. Loosing a customer over a tire, that your staff member ruined….. awful. If I had it to do all over again. I would just stayed in Tom’s River with Gateway. -SW More

The Staff at Galaxy are really good. Welcoming and friendly staff. Environment makes you feel comfortable. Not too long after walking in the dealership, the staff was very attentive. Welcoming and friendly staff. Environment makes you feel comfortable. Not too long after walking in the dealership, the staff was very attentive. The salesperson KJ and Lauren at this dealership were also great to work with. Both were accommodating, very patient and extremely professional throughout the entire process. I would recommend Galaxy Toyota to anyone interested in buying a car in the NJ Central or even the Tri State Area. More
Unbelievably poor service - both customer and vehicle! Not at all accommodating in any way - over $500 charged for a normal battery!! Incredibly rude receptionists, my husband called 17 times over a 2 day Not at all accommodating in any way - over $500 charged for a normal battery!! The entire dealership was a bad experience and we have been Toyota customers for years - but this dealership and service was awful. More
I am in NY state and found the dealerships here poor. I found Galaxy Toyota and they had the car I wanted. GR corolla. They were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. If you can buy cash, get the title in hand same day, and register it yourself, then and only then, buy here. Otherwise, run for the hills. Dealer finger points at neighboring state over titling and registra register it yourself, then and only then, buy here. Otherwise, run for the hills. Dealer finger points at neighboring state over titling and registration delay, provides no evidence that anything was submitted to my state of residence, raise their voices over the phone to interrupt, and now just refuse to take our calls. With no title and dealer refusing to renew temporary registration, we now have to appeal to the state of NJ and BBB for mediation... spare yourselves. More

I bought a used 4Runner this past weekend from them and on the way home thought, man these brakes are shot! Took them to my trusted mechanic for 15 years today and he said I can’t believe they let you leav on the way home thought, man these brakes are shot! Took them to my trusted mechanic for 15 years today and he said I can’t believe they let you leave with this. The back brakes were 100% gone and the front ones 90%. The salespeople were great and easy but for the manager to let that car be driven is insane. More
