My Review Of Garland Nissan:
The outside sales personnel were very pushy but not knowledgable of the model. If I hadn't been so sick of car shopping at the time, I wouldn't have purchased because I'm sure I could have gotten a better price from a different Nissan dealership. I told the finance person at the time of signing the paperwork that I did not want the extended warranty (I was lead to believe by the sales people that it was the manufacturer's warranty, not an additional one you pay TWO THOUSAND dollars for) or GAP insurance, but she already had the paperwork written up, it was late, and she said I could cancel within 30-60 days. I'm still trying to cancel, and they are being absolutely ridiculous. They tell me I need to come in and sign a paper to cancel, so my husband goes in to sign, and they tell him that we have to have proof of a refinance to cancel. I don't want to refinance until I have everything straightened out, and I am still waiting for them to process the cancellation of the extended warranty. Oh, by the way, they say it takes 4-6 weeks to cancel the thing that the finance woman told me was easy to cancel! Am I paying interest on this money that I didn't want to spend? Probably. I will NEVER shop here again, and if this is the norm for dealerships, I will never be buying a new car again. It has been nothing but a headache and I feel like they took major advantage of my inexperience.
