Worst service experience in 54 years of driving! We bought a "certified used" Kia Carnival that still had a year of warranty and only 28,000 miles on it. Owned it for a couple weeks when we notic We bought a "certified used" Kia Carnival that still had a year of warranty and only 28,000 miles on it. Owned it for a couple weeks when we noticed AC not as cold as expected. The owners manual said when the vehicle is in the "economy" drive mode the AC will be less effective. OK, that makes sense. When it got warmer out we changed the drive mode to normal so the AC would be better. AC was still not very cold. A quick check found the pressure was low on refrigerant system. Added some and AC was great, for about a week. I notified Garvey Kia of the issue and brought it in for service. Garvey service said they found a leak and said the piping to the rear unit was at fault. Damaged. The damage was cited as being up under the vehicle and something must have hit it hard. I did not have any accident in the couple weeks I owned it nor did I go off road with the minivan. Garvey Service said the Kia warranty would not cover it since it was damaged. When I picked up the vehicle I asked for the old parts. Not only did they replace what they said was a damaged piece but two other sections and the distribution box in the rear. Over $2,000! I notified their service department I was paying under protest and would be filing a complaint. One pipe returned had dye from testing around a coupler that appeared to run from the coupler down the pipe. They replaced the suspect pipe and "just to be sure" replaced two more pieces of equipment, at my expense. None of the parts showed evidence of damage, leakage, or faults of any kind even when we pressurized them. I sent a certified letter to Garvey Kia asking for a reply. I have not received anything to date. Currently I have a case complaint with Kia itself and also with NYSDMV. Beware of Garvey Kia Service ! More

When I learned that my car had been discontinued, I was quite upset. I told John Starling all the things I loved about my Soul and he suggested I look at the Seltos. I was skeptical at first but he was r quite upset. I told John Starling all the things I loved about my Soul and he suggested I look at the Seltos. I was skeptical at first but he was right. He found a model that suited me well. It has everything I need and more. He even found a color that will stand out in the massive parking lots so I can easily find my vehicle (a perk that I find extremely useful as I age). I'm sure the addition of all wheel drive and the automatic liftgate will become options I will come to appreciate in a very short time. More
