We were caught in lots of traffic on Hwy 49 coming down from Grass Valley and I could tell we would be late for our appointment. I called the Service Desk to tell them we wouldn't be on time for our appo from Grass Valley and I could tell we would be late for our appointment. Terrible dealership would not recommend. Does not return calls. Staff is engaged during purchase but go radio silent after. Talked to manager seemed apathetic. Go to Roseville much better. I found all of the people at the Gold Rush Subaru to be extremely helpful and positive. Someone even drove 30 minutes to come to my home and give me a personalized instruction on all of the aspects of my v extremely helpful and positive. Everyone I have dealt with form the sales department, everyone on the phones, everyone in the main dealership, the volunteers (customer care), and other customers have been wonderful with the exception o everyone on the phones, everyone in the main dealership, the volunteers (customer care), and other customers have been wonderful with the exception of the current service department. The last two years has been horrible. There is a lack of professionalism, customer service, care, and respect. The current manager has reprimanded employees in front of customers, talked poor about former employees to customers. One member of his team lacked common knowledge and understanding of the vehicle, customer service, and interpersonal skills. The department is not as it was when I purchased my vehicle. It is my first Subaru and I can’t say enough about it. My son loves it and I recommend it to anyone that asks. My family was looking to purchase another Subaru and we had a wonderful experience with the sales department and the customer care person. However, I dead going into the service department. I can’t see being able to purchase a new vehicle from Gold Rush Subaru and I can’t bring myself to recommend anyone doing so because of the service department at Gold Rush Subaru. I just experienced another example of the outstanding service provided by Gold Rush. I significantly damaged my outback by hitting a curb, and limped home. Gold rush sent a towtruck, repaired the damag service provided by Gold Rush. I significantly damaged my outback by hitting a curb, and limped home.
