I first met Matt, a sharp and seasoned professional. He gave me a warm greeting and walked me over to Alec since he was with a customer and did not want me to wait. I was very impressed with Alec, so much so, that I asked to meet his boss after the test drive so I could compliment him – and do so after having told Alec I was NOT going to buy a car today. After the test drive Alec then introduced me to Justin, who looked and acted ever the part of the professional sales manager. Then when I came back later the same day at 5 pm with my wife (the buyer), then Alec introduced us to Aamir. Aamir is sharp. He was the consummate professional, nice dresser, and most importantly, he knew how to “smoothly” respond to and resolve my few initial concerns to my satisfaction. It was also fun watch him close and take our money. He was not too aggressive, except for the part when he got up and locked the front door. 😁 We agreed to buy the auto the same day, yes, the same day. We then met Rance, the Director of Finance, a very gifted story teller, who took all of my saved money from Aamir’s presented savings. 😁 The next day Aamir walked us through the app and then taught us how to speak to and instruct my Volvo via Google, and took care of us until our last hand shake good-bye. We purchased an Infiniti and paid cash for it through Grubbs. The paperwork that I received said the car was a "pure" when we were sold a "Luxe". I called my salesperson and a sales manager several times to get it corrected or to find out if it was actually a Luxe. No one would return my call or send me the corrected paperwork until I threatened to return the car due to fraud. At that point, the finance person, Angela, called me and was extremely rude and condescending and literally was not the same "fun, helpful" person I had dealt with when I purchased the car. She accused me of having "buyer's remorse", although I told her that I only wanted the corrected paperwork. After 30 minutes on the phone, she finally sent it, but the first version was unsigned so I had to repeatedly ask her to send me a signed version. The trust is broken and I will NEVER do business with Grubbs again. More
