I want to express how greatly disappointed my husband and I are. Firstly, we scheduled to get our car serviced for some safety issue, and we are no car expert so we didn't know what was causing the sound, an I are. So we brought it on our scheduled day (Mind you, we had to take the day off from work to make time for this) but we were told then when we got there that diagnosing the car would take about 24-48h and that no loaner car was available for us but they'd book an uber for us so we agreed to come back another day to drop off our car at the loaner car's availability and that was not a problem with us. We worked around our work schedule with it without any complains because that was fine and Angelica was nice enough to explain the situation to us. Secondly, 48H later, we got a call from the service director named "Mitch" calling from the service department stating that they were unable to diagnose the car and told my husband to come and drive the car himself and point the sound out to them himself, my husband tried to explain to the service staff what the issue was but was only told to let him know what time will he be available to come. I called him back a few minutes later to let him know our availability, but was only told multiple times about their protocol in an inhospitable and unsympathetic way. He kept insisting their protocol like I did not understand it the first time he told me. It even sounded to me that if we were unable to bring the loaner car back within 24hours that they'd have to have someone pick up the loaner and that they are able to track the car. He had even told me multiple times what their business hours are like did not understand him. We felt rushed with Very very disappointed and disheartened with today's customer service. I do want to say Thank You to Angelica Rodriguez who has been very nice and kind with us with the whole process. We have loved and have been very pleased with everyone in Grubbs Volvo since the day we got the car, except for that one person today. Very disappointed and we do not look forward to doing business with this location in the future anymore, most especially because of the customer service we have experienced today with that ONE person. We still wanna say Thank You to the other service staff who have helped us, they have been nice to us. More
Rude, incompetent and a bully . An oil change nightmare. Car rtrnd dirty & broken. Complete chaos with my vehicle which they have now damaged. Took in for oil change Less An oil change nightmare. Took back - informed further investigation needed and a two part process Informed the oil was changed and to drive x amount of miles to complete 2nd process. Had to drive and add mileage to accomplish this. I wasn't aware that I cannot exceed a certain amount of miles and therefore went over and therefore had to restart the process. Volvo stated they would take care of a recall for the door. I had no issues with the door but allowed them to take care of the recall. Picked up vehicle, drove to local Target and the door no longer works. Took it back immediately (within the hour). Left car. Received a call stating that the car is ready for pickup about two days later. Went to Volvo the following day ( informed the day before, next day pick up) and they could not find my car. I waited 2 hrs. I was given a grey, 2016 Volvo (informed, this is not my car). My car is white. I was provided a loaner. The following day I went back. I was told that it was the keys not the car missing. That's incorrect! I asked where my vehicle is and was informed that it needs to be washed. I informed it's Friday, I'll wash it myself the following day. I was informed to take another loaner and they would reach out once it's ready ( now the lost vehicle is a hostage!) I picked up the car a week later ( once they agreed to release it to me 😳). Drove it Brought it back for the 2nd step in the process. 2 weeks later I have the vehicle back. The vehicle smells like fumes and is making a humming noise. New issue!!! Called Volvo Provided a loaner 1 week later, informed corrosion over monitor Informed if so, it happened while with Volvo. Elvin stated that that they will take care of it. A week later he calls to inform of the issue again, however not fixed. Informed I'm livid. Call from Rich who stated that they are not taking ownership and I can't prove they did it but will pay for 1/2 of repairs. Barely driven vehicle ( I work remotely and usually order groceries to be delivered). I’m not from the area and therefore, I do not leave my home much. Now, I have a well kept vehicle with issues that were not there b4 and have liquid damage to an area that a cup of liquid should not be housed and never has been housed by me. Explained that I would not sit fluid over the monitor when I have cup holders. Makes no sense. Vehicle was fine until they took it for repairs, now it is in a worse condition than before I had the oil issue. Richard refuses to take full responsibility and stated my car is ready for pickup. Grubb is known for poor service per reviews. I can now understand why. Oh, I forgot to mention that during one of my visits, I was asked if I was ready to upgrade. Is this what they do, break your car in hopes of a sale!? Picked up the vehicle which was not washed, smelled like a mechanic and is still broken. It also was on empty. “again!” When I picked up my vehicle, Rich stood behind my assigned rep Elvin (2 ft behind his left side) and stared at me). I am assuming that he intended to intimidate this woman which of course is impossible. Working for a judge, in a courthouse for years. Im not easily intimidated. In fact, it proved my point regarding unprofessional behavior. It takes more than a suit to show tact, professionalism and quality service. More
After 18 months in my 2022 XC-60, I am very pleased with my choice and highly recommend Grubbs Central Houston for sales and service. Some significant warranty work was necessary that took several months to complete. At first I was totally frustrated with that process and the rapid change in maintenance staff at your facility. That was before I realized the true impact of Climate Change on the lives of working people, especially those in the service industry. Maintenance is a difficult job and everyone thinks there job should be first priority. I respect those who continue to work long hours and do their best under time and cost constraints that are difficult to control. More

He ordered the exact configuration I wanted, updated me multiple times on status of the order over the roughly three month period from order to delivery. In delivery, Daniel did an excellent job explaining every feature in great detail. The closing process with the Finance office went very smoothly. This is our first Volvo. We love the way it looks and drives. Kudos to Daniel and the Grubbs Volvo Car team for providing an excellent buying experience. More
