I brought my EV into the Chevy dealership for its first service visit and was initially told that a recall had been identified. I was informed the vehicle would need to stay overnight so they could replace service visit and was initially told that a recall had been identified. I was informed the vehicle would need to stay overnight so they could replace the necessary part, which I agreed to. The next day, I received a call saying they had ordered the wrong part and that my vehicle would not be ready. I was also told that no loaner vehicle was available, which was already an inconvenience. What’s most disappointing is that after waiting two weeks with no updates, I had to call the service department myself to check on the status. During that call, it seemed like the correct part had never even been ordered. Overall, this experience has been frustrating due to the lack of communication, delays, and poor coordination. I expected a higher level of service and accountability, especially for a recall related issue. More
