Mando was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain the whole vehicle understanding my concerns and what we wanted from the vehicle for the family. Had originally wanted a GMC AT4 but the sales people at Gunn GMC totally ignored me. I guess I didn't look like someone who could afford it. Luckily John Ruiz approached us at Gunn Chevrolet next door and Gunn GMC totally ignored me. I guess I didn't look like someone who could afford it. Luckily John Ruiz approached us at Gunn Chevrolet next door and provided us with insight and honest feedback on what we were looking for. Ultimately, we choose the Suburban Premier and couldn't be happier. John did an excellent job of listening to our needs and being honest with what Gunn Chevrolet could actually accomplish. I’ve been a regular customer at Gunn and have usually had good experiences, but this recent visit left me really disappointed. I came in for a basic oil change and was told it would take 1.5 hours. When I repeated that back, the employee corrected me and said 2 hours instead. As the 2-hour mark approached and I hadn’t received any updates, I asked the person who initially took my car for a status. He didn’t apologize or seem concerned just said he would go check. He came back saying the oil change had just been completed and they were about to start the tire rotation. I asked for an estimated time, but he couldn’t give me one. Later, he returned with a quote for a separate job, which I declined, and then finally came back to check me out. At that point, he offered a quick apology but by then, I was already frustrated with the lack of communication and customer service. I normally return to Gunn because I trust the care I’ve received in the past, but this experience really missed the mark. More than two hours for an oil change, with no updates or clear communication, is unacceptable. More
