Terrible experience My car had a warning light come on minutes after I drove it off their lot. It took 5 trips to the service department and a lot of tenacity for the iss My car had a warning light come on minutes after I drove it off their lot. It took 5 trips to the service department and a lot of tenacity for the issue to be finally resolved (3 of those times I waited over 2 hours). It is clear that someone cleared the codes hoping the problem (that the car had after market tire pressure sensors not compatible or programmable with the car) would just go unnoticed. The worst of it all is that several of my communications went completely ignored including an email to the GM explaining the situation. After the service manager failed to fix the problem 2x I was assured by a sales manager that he would personally make sure it was resolved. The next day he kept me waiting over 15 minutes only to walk me over to the service manager (who had already failed to Fix the problem) and walk away. The lack of respect for a customers time or satisfaction is endemic in the organization. No one was even apologetic for selling me a car with a defect. They should have been embarrassed when the problem arose and been eager to fix it. Instead I was treated as if they were doing me a favor. It is clear that no one even looks at these cars before they are sold. Yet the stiff dealer fee is supposed to be justified for that very reason (the time and resources spent getting cars ready for sale). When you charge money for a service you don't perform that is tantamount to stealing. Ultimately they understand their business thrives on volume and don't lose anything if a customer is not satisfied. More
