Buying my passat I took my 2017 Mazda in to obtain a 2nd key fob; ended up getting a 2015 VW Passat. So much happier with my VW. He did so, and again, though he knew it was exactly what I wanted and there were only 3 left in the region (i.e. he could've played hardball on price), he still worked with me on price. They Dont care about Customers only $$ In their Pockets!!! THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! My husband and I went in Wednesday and walked the lot for 25 minutes and no one helped us. We went in and the sales rep we had spoken to was busy. We test drove four vehicles with Gabe and he seemed completely uninterested in our business. The next day we returned and advised them that we were pretty sold on the 2018 Passat. Rick the sales manager apologized for our bad experience the day before and ensured us today would be better. Shawn was our third sales rep and he was more than accommodating and helpful. We offered 1k below sticker and Rick said NO! We said fine and proceeded to sign. We tell them we have our own financing and they begin to haggle us insisting we go through Volkswagen. We decline and they walk away. Then they return and say we have to put down a deposit even though we have financing and insurance. Then they say if we go through Volkswagen we don't have to put down a deposit. At this point I told them where to shove it and walked out. We quickly did a search and found 90 cars with less miles same yr/mke. We call them just to see if they would apologize for their horrible service and nope! They continue to haggle. DO NOT BUY from them UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A SUCKER! More

He didn't give us the typical "salesy" pitches and if he did, we probably would have went to a different dealership. I did hear some of the salesy pitches coming from his counter parts when they were speaking with their customers. This is the reason I gave a 5 star rating-MIke's consultative selling approach. The minute I feel like I'm being sold, I'm out (I'm also in sales so I'm a bit biased). However, Mike was very conversational and laid back. You do still go through the typically fluff like other car dealerships with negotiation tactics, but eventually we came to a number we all agreed upon.
