Disappointing first service visit Today I went to this dealership for my first oil change on the 2014 Kia Sorento I purchased from them earlier this year. Appointment started off well Today I went to this dealership for my first oil change on the 2014 Kia Sorento I purchased from them earlier this year. Appointment started off well when I checked in vehicle for service with Becki. Wait was reasonable, but things turned sour after Becki told me my car was ready. First Becki tells me that I need to use Kia oil filters in my car for every oil change in the future or it could cause problems with the check engine light coming on. My Kia salesman never pointed out this fact when he was selling me the car. Then Becki told me that my car was being run through the car wash as I had requested and my keys would be brought to me by the person doing this. After waiting several minutes, I happened to look in the parking lot and I saw my car sitting there. I went back and found Becki and asked what we going on. She had no idea and went to find the person handling the car wash. This gentleman told Becki that he had already given me my keys (which he had not). Becki went to the cashier to see if she had my keys. Cashier said she didn't have them. In short, these 3 people stood in front of me and several others in the service waiting room, arguing over where my keys were and who should have done what. Finally, the cashier found my keys at her desk, and even then, these 3 people continued to debate what happened, without giving me my keys. Finally I demanded my keys and left the service department. No one ever apologized to me for the confusion. In my opinion, Becki did not follow through on this service appointment as she had no idea where my car keys were for a period of time or made any effort to ensure that I got my car back and got on my way in a timely manner. Additionally, I never got the car wash I asked for because the person responsible for handling that never did it. Maybe I received this kind of service because my first oil change was free. Nevertheless, I don't think that I will be returning to this dealership for service in the future when the service people cannot keep track of my car. More
Best worker I went to Jim for a used car and wasn't sure if it would be possible but Jim made it possible and didnt give up trying to help guarantee that I would I went to Jim for a used car and wasn't sure if it would be possible but Jim made it possible and didnt give up trying to help guarantee that I would have a car when I left and be satisfied. He spent more time making sure I knew what to do with the car and the payment and even helped with insurance. It was overall the best experience I've had. He went above and beyond to make sure I had the best car and it was within my price limit. This man Jim is not just a car dealer he is a person who cares about everyone and goes above expectations to make sure the customer is happy. He represents kia well and will be the reason I stay with kia and recommend it to everyone I know. More

I came in early in the month to test drive a few cars and he gave me a quote. I was approved for a lease, but explained that I was not quite ready to get the car. I really appreciated that I was not pressured to make a move quickly. I returned a few weeks later to complete the transaction. He helped me get the maximum discount for which I was qualified and took the time to get in the car with me to explain some of the features. I appreciate that he is a veteran, as I am as well. I was assissted with the lease paperwork by Oleg, who was also friendly and not pushy. I was referred to this location by my sister, who is a very happy customer, and I have referred another individual, thanks to the very positive experience I had. More

Best experience ever while buying a car. I honestly had the best experience buying my 2012 Kia Soul. It wasnt easy for me being self employed and I owed more on my car I had then it was wort I honestly had the best experience buying my 2012 Kia Soul. But Jim McConville and the management at Halleen Kia helped me tremendously in getting me in a car that I absolutely love. They went well out of there way to help me as well as getting me an awesome deal on a great car that I love, and to be honest it has helped me alot in not only safety issues but as far as saving money. I greatly appreciate what they have done for me and me and my family look forward to dealing with Jim and the Halleen staff in the future. More
My crappy credit I requested a quote/information over Edmunds. The next day Ms. Phyllis called to give me additional information and follow up on what I was looking fo I requested a quote/information over Edmunds. The next day Ms. Phyllis called to give me additional information and follow up on what I was looking for. I wasn't able to answer but eventually I called back. Ms. Phyllis was giving me a great customer service. She answered my questions and wasn't pushing me to visit the dealer and make a purchase. The call was for information on a Kia Optima 2015 but as a current Kia Sorento 2014 owner when we spoke about the SUV I wanted to have more information (my Sorento was bought in Puerto Rico from where I moved a couple months back). She hung the call to get more information and when she called back it was a completely different story. The first thing she wanted was my information to do a credit check, to which I declined because I don't like my credit checked until I am sure I'll make a deal. She treated if I was an alien of the United Stated and my credit was not going to be valid in the US. Her willingness to give me information was gone and while I was trying to explain why I didn't liked my credit checked the conversation got kind of tense, I tried to change the topic and asked if she was going to be able to give me more information without having my credit checked or not, she told me the price of the vehicle and when I wanted to review the lease details she told me she didn't think I was going to be able to lease the car and she recommend me to buy the car "because someone with crappy credit could buy the car". When I wanted to hang up while been respectful then she told she didn't think we matched since the beginning of the call. Honestly, I don't expect everyone to know Puerto Rico, it is a very small island but don't treat me like a alien, PR is a territory of the US and we don't require a visa to travel in or out. Halleen Kia just lost a sale because of this "crappy" customer service. More
