I brought my 2021 Nissan Kicks to Nissan Hayward for one reason: to get the infotainment system firmware updated. I had researched the issue in detail and found that this model has known problems with speak reason: to get the infotainment system firmware updated. I had researched the issue in detail and found that this model has known problems with speaker crackling and buzzing, which are often resolved through a firmware update. I clearly communicated this when I scheduled the appointment and again in person when I dropped off the car. Despite that, the update was not performed. I was told that “no update was needed,” even though my car is still running software version 262, a version that is well out of date. I later confirmed that there is a newer version (550) available for my model, which many owners have had installed to fix exactly the kind of issue I reported. Instead of doing what I asked, I was charged $320 for a diagnostic that addressed none of my concerns. I had specifically told the advisor that we were planning to sell the car and didn’t want to invest any more money into it. That context was ignored, and I left with the exact same issue I came in with, only now out $320. To make matters worse, I was told the owner would follow up with me later that day. No one ever called. There were no missed calls or voicemails. When I followed up again, I was told they had called, which simply isn’t true. This experience felt like a complete dismissal of what I brought the car in for. I didn’t need a general diagnostic. I needed a specific firmware update, which I requested repeatedly. The lack of follow-through and poor communication made it worse. I won’t be coming back to Nissan Hayward and wouldn’t recommend them to others, especially if you already know what service your vehicle needs and expect to be taken seriously. More

I purchased a 24 month lease. I was intending on availing state rebate for the EV. I asked the sales manager multiple times about state rebate. He confidently assured that i will be elibible to avail the rebate. When I checked it looks like a minimum of 30 month lease is required to apply for state rebate. I was misinformed by the dealership, I signed up for the lease and now I am in loss without the rebate. I have been trying to contact the sales person for a while. He has been ignoring after the sale is made and is not responding. My friends went to San Leandro Nissan and got a better deal. More

Dealership that cannot be trusted I have return a leased vehicle and they did not provide document for it. All they do is deny responsibility. Don't deal with this dealer if you don't want a nightmare scenario. More

Very poor customer service I leased a vehicle and they wrote the wrong DMV fees and made me go back to sign it. Then they reported to Nissan Finance that I did not pay the first I leased a vehicle and they wrote the wrong DMV fees and made me go back to sign it. Then they reported to Nissan Finance that I did not pay the first installment even though they charged me in the first contract payment. My credit score got affected. I called three times and they will not return the call also. Very frustrating. My friend wanted a vehicle to lease they kept saying they will get the color he requested and did not bother to find it or even call. More
