Addition: I almost forgot: Something else I was not terribly satisfied with was that the price I was quoted included a $1500 contribution toward a 'down payment' if you financed the vehicle through the manufacturer financing division. So, if I had come with my own financing already set up, it would have been $1500 more expensive. The person I originally spoke with (internet sales rep) did not go into details and just said he was authorized to discount the vehicle $4,424 and quoted me a price. It made it sound less expensive and helped get me to choose this particular dealership over others that I was talking to.

We are very transparent (even, "the person in the back room" when we do any trade appraisals. Based on the facts yours in particular, you were trading in a rear wheel drive vehicle (States without snow and ice can, net a greater value). Bad car faxes are another factor in what value a car receives. I am sorry to hear your experience with Finance was painful. Our F&I Department will present the extra services and warranties a few times. We still respect a "No" and your feedback is how we can improve.
