We had a great experience buying our new RV. We did a lot of research on-line first. The website was very easy to use and even aided in the camper we ended up purchasing. That is, we were set on buying one unit but noticed on the home page of the website that a new 2013 unit had recently become available. It had the same floor plan we were looking for but the interior was more appealing to us. If they wouldn't have loaded this on their homepage timely we wouldn't have ever considered it. Also, we were very impressed with the amount of inventory they had in stock. Many of the other dealers might have the model we were looking for but didn't have the interior color we were interested in. We didn't have that issue at Holmans. Also, the salesman we worked through, Tony Zee, was very approachable and didn't come across as a pressure salesman. He was very upfront with pricing on the campers as well as the other items we needed such as a hitch and brake controller, etc. And their pricing was among the best we could find. This was obviously important to us but of course wanted to make sure the dealer was reputable. Understanding that this was a family owned dearlership that's been in business since 1945 put our fears at ease. Coming from 3 hours away to purchase the unit, I was very pleased with the service we got the day of the purchase. The process went very smoothly from start to finish. Once we picked out the unit, we completed the necessary paperwork and financing which was pretty painless(and another salesperson let our two young kids watch a movie on their i-pad which kept them entertained). Once the paperwork was done, we had to wait for the unit to be prepped and our truck get the hitch and brake controller installed. Since our truck wasn't available, they provided us with a vehicle which we could use to go get lunch and do shopping and wasn't trapped at the dealership. This was very much appreciated. Once the unit was prepped we were called and we went back to the dealership for our walk through. The guys who took us through the unit was very helpful (as this was our first camper) and spent about an hour going through every detail and encouraged us to ask questions along the way. We also didn't feel like they were trying to rush us out of there. Lastly I should note we completed this all on a Saturday, and was able to take the unit home on the same day!! Rusty at Holman GMC was very responcive and helped us get the best deal in 5 states. I live in Johnson City, TN and i found his dealership on gmc locator i emailed him late sunday evening and he responded t the best deal in 5 states. I live in Johnson City, TN and i found his dealership on gmc locator i emailed him late sunday evening and he responded that night i e-mailed him back and told him what incentives i might be elegiable for and would call him monday morning.I called him and he had my deal worked up and it was very reasonable.I asked him if they could pick me up at the airport if i purchased the vehicle he told me no problem just let him know.Also they overnighted the paperwork and i wired the money up. i arrived at the dealership and there was our vehicle and Rusty was inspesting it after cleanup. We went in and done the paper work and then done a tour of the dealership which was awesome all the rv's and gmc's very impressive!!! we then went to the vehicle and he spent over an hour explaning and asking if i had any questions. I had looked for the GMC Terrains for a while and we love the vehicle. We just wished we lived closer to get the service done there.
