I used to think that Honda was great but I'm seriously upset this time because I have been told time and time again that they overcharged me. What annoys me is the way dishonesty & greed seems to be so de upset this time because I have been told time and time again that they overcharged me. What annoys me is the way dishonesty & greed seems to be so deeply ingrained in so many dealership service departments and mechanic shops. I brought my car in June 2021 for a diagnosis on noise, tune-up & they also suggested that it needed a timing belt and other things like brake fluid and strut assembly's, bushings, etc the total cost was $4,000! I've gotten estimates from other mechanics and they told me that my total cost should have only been $2000-2500 Parts and Labor together and Honda ripped me off. Not to mention that I had to go back again and have a diagnosis and I need another $700 worth of work... So the first time I took my car in they did a diagnosis and checked my car and said it was fine and no other issues only now to find out that oil was seriously leaking -I was told it was the power steering. SO my question is the first time I brought the car HOW come they did not see the other problems and yet told me that the car was in good condition only for things to go wrong soon after? 👎👎👎 I have no faith in mechanic shops anymore they are so unethical and dishonest to the consumer. What they don't seem to understand is that without OUR business they have NO business and NO job. I was determined to purchase a new hybrid. Honda West told me about a 2021 new Honda Accord Hybrid that hadn't arrived yet. They gave me the opportunity to purchase it online with a $200 discount. They were courteous and professional both on the phone and in person. The car is exactly what I wanted and they gave me a fair trade in value on my 2018 Honda Accord. The final price was reasonable despite the huge demand and short supply of Honda Accord Hybrids. These folks truly believe that customer satisfaction is more important than larger profits. I am eagerly awaiting delivery and the folks at Honda West have made a friend for life. And the service department gets 5 stars too. My Honda 2018 AC system died 2 weeks after the warranty ran out and the service manager got Honda to give me the $600 part for free anyway and I only paid $185 for labor. This dealership is Awesome!!! More
