Our experience with this dealership was extremely disappointing and frustrating. We drove over an hour with the intention of purchasing a 2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy that had been represente disappointing and frustrating. We drove over an hour with the intention of purchasing a 2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy that had been represented to us, both in writing and in person, as Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned for a $33,000 out-the-door price. Based on that understanding, we came prepared to complete the purchase. After completing the test drive and spending several hours at the dealership providing personal and financial information, we were informed only at the very final stage that the vehicle would not be certified. We were told this decision was related to internal cost considerations, despite being advised that the vehicle passed mechanically. At that point, a dealership-backed service contract was offered as a replacement for Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned coverage, which is not equivalent. What made this experience especially upsetting was the timing of this disclosure. This information was withheld until the end of the process, after we had already invested significant time and effort and were prepared to finalize the purchase. Had this been communicated upfront, we would never have made the trip or proceeded as far as we did. The lack of transparency and the late change in terms left us feeling misled and extremely disappointed. I normally don’t post reviews, but I feel like others should know about my experience at Horne Hyundai Apache Junction with my 2016 Tucson. Back in May, I brought my car in for a P0299 Turbo Underboos should know about my experience at Horne Hyundai Apache Junction with my 2016 Tucson. Back in May, I brought my car in for a P0299 Turbo Underboost code. The dealer diagnosed it as a bad turbo and quoted me $3,300. I saved up and returned in July to get the turbo replaced. Here’s the problem: immediately after the repair, the same exact code came back. Only then did they decide to check the catalytic converter, which they found was clogged. That was another $3,200 estimate (or $1,300 for an aftermarket option). From what I’ve since learned, Hyundai service procedures and basic industry best practices require checking the catalytic converter when diagnosing a P0299. A simple backpressure test, O₂ sensor analysis, or visual inspection should have been done before recommending a $3,300 repair. None of that was done. So now, I’m out $3,300 for a turbo replacement that did not fix my car, and I’m left with the same drivability issue unless I spend thousands more. Needless to say, I’m very disappointed in how this was handled. A proper diagnosis would have saved me thousands of dollars and a lot of stress. More

The team at Horne Hyundai was exceptional. I had previously searched for a vehicle on the general Hyundai website and saw that Horne Hyundai was getting the vehicle in. I put a request in online, and they contacted me quickly. We set up a time for me to come see the vehicle. I was sold. Kaleb was a great salesperson to work with. He explained all off the different technology in the vehicle. We also worked with Kahi the business manager. He made signing all of the paperwork and the payment a breeze. I highly recommend a trip to Horne Hyundai if you're in the market for a vehicle. More
