If there were a star award of zero, that is what I would really give them. I gave them the chance to rectify this issue, they chose to ignore it, so the truth shall be posted to warn others. Happy holidays. really give them. I gave them the chance to rectify this issue, they chose to ignore it, so the truth shall be posted to warn others. Happy holidays...keep it happy and don't shop with these scoundrels. :) December 7, 2025 Good day, I am writing to put in a complaint about a Car dealership which uses fraudulent methods of swaying customers from sites, such as Carvana, to their site Import Masters USA which use .com or .net for their Nasau dealership on Long Island. I was car shopping on the internet using the site for Carvana. I had two cars I had been interested in which were a convertible Audi and a convertible BMW 280. They both ranged slightly under 20K. While viewing these cars, I got solicitations from Carguru.com for a BMW 280 convertible for the price of $18,495 which was lower than the two cars I was viewing from Carvana.com. I decided to make an appointment to go see the car on Long Island at Import Masters. I went to see the car in Great Neck, Long Island and the sales person Ivan and I took the car out on the road for a test drive. I liked the car and I decided I wanted to purchase it. When we went inside, we discussed the car and I was to come the following week to purchase the car. During the week I received another ad for the same car, this time at $17,995. I decided to discuss it with Ivan when I got to their office the following week. I brought up the discrepancies on the prices and Ivan stated that the dealership had to advertise that way or they would have no business. I told him you do realize that is fraud. He mumbles some things and said that it was what the dealership does. I did purchase the car because, I just didn’t want to keep shopping around. The cars I had looked at with Carvana had been sold. So, rather than begin at square one with car shopping, I just purchased the car for $27,757.96, after taxes fees etc.—just about $10k over what they advertised. Now, just to warn others not to be as dismissive of these issues as I was. Know what you are getting into and perhaps stick to Carvana. I hope this review/complaint helps others out there who are on the market for a car and an honest sales pitch. You won’t get that from Import Masters of Long Island that is for sure. Steer clear of them. Happy Holidays!! Sincerely, MersiNYC More
