I bought two $80,000 plus cars from this dealership in the last three years. My newest vehicle has an issue and cannot be driven with just 1700 miles driven on it. I called the service department and they the last three years. My newest vehicle has an issue and cannot be driven with just 1700 miles driven on it. I called the service department and they refused to offer me a comparable car to use while they repair my car. The manager Matt Ingson was not understanding at all and took my frustration in stride, telling me that he was only able to supply me with a small/mid-size SUV in lieu of my large one. More
On 11-14-23, I had the pleasure to work with three of J. B.A.'s sales persons; Mark, Jason & Matthew. These were the most PROFESSIONAL car salesman, I have ever worked with. I purchased a 2020, GMC Sierra B.A.'s sales persons; Mark, Jason & Matthew. These were the most PROFESSIONAL car salesman, I have ever worked with. I purchased a 2020, GMC Sierra Denali truck, which by the way, is SHARP! I live in North Carolina, so I flew into the DCA Airport and had a Lyft take me to the dealership. Not only was reimbursed for that expense, but while we finalized the paperwork, I was treated like a valued customer and there was no doubt in my mind they appreciated my business. Mark took me on a test drive and explained the high-tech features of my truck. My vehicle had been detailed and to provide even more exceptional customer service, he helped me out with gas for my drive back to North Carolina:) If you are considering buying a car in the Glen Burnie, MD area, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND J.B.A. Chevrolet/Kia. I promise you will have the best car-buying experience ever! Mark, Jason, and Matt, you guys are Awesome! Sincerely, Kelvin More
Went in to buy a truck. Online price is a bait and switch they advertise $10,000 off the window sticker when you sit down to do numbers they give you the discount and then t Online price is a bait and switch they advertise $10,000 off the window sticker when you sit down to do numbers they give you the discount and then they have an addendum on the window sticker for over $2000 for market adjustment. How can you discount a vehicle $10,000 and then add an addendum sticker for market adjustment it’s not Covid anymore they have over 80 trucks on the lot it’s a bull crap gimmick to get you in the door just like they say they match CarMax they were $2000 below it And they said their managers used to sell Toyotas so they know that market they were so good with that brand wire they had a Chevy dealer now Sales person was rude This is why the dealership only has a two star rating total joke More
Bought a car from them last week. They placed a false advertisement online about the car having 40/20/40 bench seat truck. Instead, the vehicle was a 5 seat truck. Either way, the sal They placed a false advertisement online about the car having 40/20/40 bench seat truck. Instead, the vehicle was a 5 seat truck. Either way, the salesman Mark was polite and helpful, and I really liked the truck. The finance manager was the opposite, no patience, short answers, and annoying (almost walked away because of his attitude). He got annoyed because I wanted to READ the documents I was signing. How dare I try and read the documents that say I am giving them thousands of dollars. I mean if you work customer service you should learn a little bit of customer service. More
What. A. Racket. The sales manager in the used car division is an absolute joke. Purchased a used vehicle over a week ago and they still have yet to get th A. Racket. The sales manager in the used car division is an absolute joke. Purchased a used vehicle over a week ago and they still have yet to get the car to us. Called the dealership and was given the biggest runaround that essentially amounted to the sales manager lying about his staff and their “promises” to us about the readiness of the vehicle. Still not sure how you can take someone’s money and not give them the car (they also took a trade in so we have NO vehicle until they resolve this) and don’t care to get the vehicle to the customer in a timely manner. I enjoyed having my time wasted by someone who claims to consider their customer service “superior” but did nothing but spew sales xx all over me until I finally gave up. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. More
They told us to be the first people to see a new vehicle after inspection we basically had to come in and put a deposit down. A pre-payment so to speak. But would be refundable if, after we looked at it, we after inspection we basically had to come in and put a deposit down. A pre-payment so to speak. But would be refundable if, after we looked at it, we decided we didn't want it. My husband took the time to drive there that day only to be told, they don't take deposits and he would need to apply for financing right then and there in order to see this vehicle coming back from inspection. I emailed the sales person, Sarah Graff, who told us over the phone (on speaker so both my husband and I heard her) that we could put a deposit down asking why she would tell us something that wasn't true and in turn, wasting our time. Not surprising, I didn't receive a response explaining herself. It's sad that I specifically asked her to not waste each other's time in our very first email exchange because we have dealt with this through all the other dealerships we have been to. I thought this larger company would be more upstanding, professional, and have better business practices. Basically greasy used car dealers. Avoid at all costs if you don't want your time wasted. If you are looking for a car and are a woman and want to get taken advantage of and get the worst possible deal, then JBA is the place to go!! This is from a past experience some years ago. From reading o get taken advantage of and get the worst possible deal, then JBA is the place to go!! This is from a past experience some years ago. From reading other reviews, they have not changed one bit. As for details of purchasing a new vehicle, I put about 50% cash down and still paid list price and the financing was at 8%!! Yes, you heard that right, 8%!! Learned a hard lesson at the dealership. They are only interested in ripping off as many customers as they can. If you do go there (and not sure why you would), make sure you bring someone who knows about buying cars. More
