Well, there are still a few that didn't get the memo and still have a get the customer into the dealership at all costs business plan. This is one of the biggest issues many customers have with the car buying and trading process. Something that should take 10-15 minutes ends up taking hours just to find that the car is overpriced or your trade valuation is not even close to the mark. I contacted three dealerships regarding a 370z on their lots and was upfront with my desire to trade my 2021 Harley Davidson Road Glide in for their car. Each dealer suggested they accept motorcycles and wanted me to bring the motorcycle in for valuation immediately. I asked each if they are willing to complete a virtual valuation via video or pictures. Two accepted the offer to do so, and one declined. That was Sarah at JBA Chevrolet. She suggested that under no circumstance would they consider a virtual valuation. They have no flexibility and are outdated on new selling and buying techniques and processes and thus they are not customer friendly. I decided the next day that I would keep the Harley and consider making a purchase of a 370z of my choice. So when deciding which of the three dealerships I would engage with to make a purchase. I decided to eliminate JBA Chevrolet from consideration to earn my business. Since Sarah and the JBA team have no flexibility to complete the valuation process and provide a tentative no-obligation offer online, via email, or other electronic means. then I have no flexibility in spending my hard-earned money at their dealership. I don't expect not earning my business will hurt JBA sales and neither do I believe my review will prevent anyone from buying or trading a car with JBA. I'm sure they will be just fine. What I hope to do with this review is empower other customers and hopefully, get dealerships like JBA Chevrolet, Glen Bernie to offer more flexibility when the opportunity presents itself to earn another customer's business. If they had done so and not been so absolute in their process, they could likely have not only received an outstanding Harley Davidson but could have likely sold me their 370Z Coupe. More
Arrive today just looking for another pickup truck. Found a pretty 21 Silverado that I liked. Salesman was great. My plan was to purchase today. After looking at my current truck for appraisal the Sales manager came to me with an offer entirely $300 more higher then my current payment and told me that was the best he could do. They did not provide me an offer for my truck. Just a hand written payment on paper. I told them thanks and I would not pay the lease payment they were offering. Don’t recommend this place. They did not try to even get a deal done. Sad. I will go back and purchase from Heritage. More

JBA bought my truck and paid off my original loan. Three weeks and they still won’t pay me until they get the new title from MVA. I have nothing to do with the title being issued. Would not recommend shopping here at all. Make a deal online with Charles and when we arrived we were passed around to several other salesmen and finally stuck with Larry. The finance people inputted all address wrong on the paperwork and had poor attitudes as well. 10/10 would recommended going somewhere else, nobody we encountered seemed to care or have any desire to sell a car. Took my one year old truck in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. Apt was scheduled for 2pm, I got a call 41 minutes later asking me to come to the service department. (I was over at the new car d and tire rotation. Apt was scheduled for 2pm, I got a call 41 minutes later asking me to come to the service department. (I was over at the new car dealership lot talking numbers for another truck) When I arrived to the service department I was told they hit the mirror off my truck while putting it on the lift. I get that accidents happen, but the manager, Ben, handled the problem as if I should be thanking him for fixing it. He told me he would overnight the parts. The next day I got no phone call from him. I was expecting it to be done the next day! A day later I get a call asking to keep my truck longer so that his service department ‘could take their time and do it right.’ Day 3 and I had to call him at 4pm to get a status update. Of course it was magically just being finished up and would be ready for pickup at rush hour on a Friday. When I went to pick the truck up I told Ben that I had some feedback for him. I told him that better communication for when this happens in the future would be best. As I was talking he checked his watch as if I was being an inconvenience to him. Unbelievable. This could have been an opportunity for this dealership to show they can fix an error and keep my business but instead they shrugged this off as no biggie. For the inconvenience I didn’t have to pay for my oil change, what a great deal! Completely rude and unprofessional. I’m in the market for a new work truck and I can assure you that I will not be purchasing it from JBA in Glen Burnie. More
