Avoid this dealership at all costs. I purchased a replacement key fob for my car a YEAR ago. I called several times and was told the parts were backed up due to covid. I went to the dealer in person and they told me they have had the key fob since April of this year, keep in mind I have called since then and they have told me I had to keep waiting since it hasnt come in. On top of that with no apology mind you, they charged me $207 dollars versus the $100 dollars they told me it would be when I ordered the key. They claim this is because the price went up. How is it my fault the price went up after I ordered the fob a year ago and it sat around for 6 months.I contacted KIA corporate who reached out to the dealer a week ago and CORPORATE stated they were still waiting on the key. To make matter better they tried to claim that I might have given the wrong phone number, its on the receipt I see it for myself. I use to deal with Jack Daniels Audi, now I wont work with any of the Jack Daniels dealerships. More
My Service Advisor, Rolando, was friendly, professional & efficient. He pointed out some additional service that I needed and I agreed to it. The work on my vehicle was completed in a timely fashion. After making an appointment 2 months ago for my 1st service on my brand new Kia I arrived on time for my appointment. I waited 25 minutes after speaking to the receptionist to be checked in. When I was service on my brand new Kia I arrived on time for my appointment. I waited 25 minutes after speaking to the receptionist to be checked in. When I was checked in it took almost 2 hours before I spoke a service agent to ask when my car would be ready. I was told it was being washed. 20 minutes later I received my car. 2 and half hours for a routine inspection and oil change for a scheduled appointment is unacceptable. More
Very disappointed with this dealer, where I have gotten decent service before. It has definitely gone downhill. I brought my car in for a recall issue and an oil change, but also asked them to check out an decent service before. It has definitely gone downhill. I brought my car in for a recall issue and an oil change, but also asked them to check out another potential problem with the car. They told me it would cost a $150 diagnostic fee for them to look at anything else if it was out of warranty. I said no thanks. My local mechanic will look at the car and tell me what's wrong for free. When I got there, they made me wait a longer time than usual sitting on the couch just to drop off the car. After they looked at the car they called me and told me they recommended a whole bunch of expensive flushes and additives they would gladly sell me. They also told me I needed new tires because the tires were wearing unevenly -- so I asked them to check out why this was happening. They told me it would cost money (that pesky $150 diagnostic fee again) to check out the problem, but they would be happy to replace the tires without fixing the underlying problem. I asked them to just please rotate the tires and they agreed. Why didn't they recommend that in the first place? To add insult to injury, when I picked up the car they told me if I paid by credit card, they would add on a 2.75% processing fee. I tried to pay by check but their check machine was conveniently broken. FINALLY, after I refused to pay the credit card fee, they called a manager and he adjusted the credit card price to remove the fee. They also added their promotional license plate frame to the car without my permission, which I promptly removed when I got home. I am not advertising this business and I will never go back to this dealership. I feel badly for giving my customer service rep a bad rating because she was probably only parroting what they company told her to say, but it is not cool to make people pay a credit card fee and charge diagnostic fees to look at minor problems with the car. I should have just had them to do the recall work and gone somewhere else for the service. More
I bought a 2023 Kia Sorento EX hybrid at Jack Daniels Kia in April. It's now June and the radio's FM/AM station has stopped working. When I brought it to service in Jack Daniels Kia (sales rep, Gabriella), they wanted me to pay for what they diagnosed a software update issue because it was not covered by warranty. I called and spoke to the person that sold me the car, Robert V. He said that service was only charging me for the labor and I quote, "that's what happen if you cant do it yourself". I don't mind doing the update myself but I formally made a complaint at KIA USA to address this issue. I will certainly not go back to this dealership. More
