I really wanted to leave these guys a good review: buying experience was fine, decent price, friendly...but the following after-sale experience with them has left a real sour taste in my mouth and because o experience was fine, decent price, friendly...but the following after-sale experience with them has left a real sour taste in my mouth and because of this I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone. When looking at the car the salesmen popped the hood to show us the clean engine and some recent work they did - great; however, 2 days later when I popped the hood the hood wouldn't stay up as the struts are shot. When I notified Jefferson about this they offered to install new ones...if I bought them. This got me thinking - they had to have known the struts were shot when they worked on it as they don't go bad overnight...and then I remembered when the salesperson popped the hood to show us the engine he held the hood up for us. The new struts are $40 dollars, which I can't believe that they wouldn't cover, but that's besides the point: if the salesperson went to such great lengths to hide faulty hood struts it makes me very worried what else, much more serious issue could they be hiding about the car...as if they didn't disclose faulty $40 shocks they sure has heck wouldn't disclose literally anything else wrong with it. More
