From the initial purchase being top notch as well as, my scheduled service appointments, all have been the most stress-free dealership experiences ever. I had a minor concern that required immediate atten scheduled service appointments, all have been the most stress-free dealership experiences ever. I had a minor concern that required immediate attention. I was feeling uneasy, thinking it was more of something major and wanted an appointment asap. Kevin(service manager) and Brandon got me in immediately, retained my vehicle to trouble shoot and weigh out where the issue was deriving from. Once located, they repaired where the issue was deriving from as well as any components that possibly were affected in the area around the primary problem. Before he released my vehicle, he requested additional time from me, to test drive it on the open road for an additional day. Kevin requested additional time with my vehicle, in order to reassure all parts installed were working properly and confirm the root cause of the issue was resolved and deemed safe and up to their standards before releasing. When you have a dealership who makes you and your families safety, their top priority, you truly can’t do anything else but be grateful for them and give your forever loyalty as a customer! Overall very satisfied with the experience at JH Salisbury. Mr. Branch was extremely patient with me while figured things out, Mr. Lane was awesome and was very thorough in his explanations for any Salisbury. If I had to give less than 5 stars for anything, it would be the cleanliness of the vehicle. The outside was clean, but anything that required detail was not clean - cup holders, cubby, glove box, glass on the inside, etc. Also of note, the main objection for getting the ceramic package was i wanted the scratches fixed before the ceramic was applied. The scratches were not fixed and have now been sealed with ceramic. I was kind of disappointed, honestly. Out side of those items, I was very happy with my JH experience. More
Update: They are trying to make this right, and gave me an explanation of how this situation happened. Apparently I am very unlucky! Still, I can see room for improvement on making sure we're talking about the same car - I tried to identify it via price (they have a recording of our call, which is great, and I apparently did not mention the blue color). I said something to the effect of "the one that's 31 thousand six hundred something" - and she affirmed that and said that actually the price had dropped. Turns out she was looking at the only model Y in her system and assuming we were talking about the same one that I had been looking at as available the night before. She assumed the price had dropped, as they often adjust their pricing; it had not, actually. I don't know if they have the capability, but if at that moment she had said "hm, let me see if the price just dropped from 31.6 to 30.2" we might have found out we were talking about different cars. The other thing is I clicked on "value my trade-in" from the details page of the car I was interested in, and so I thought she would have that information. Apparently this should normally happen, but did not - perhaps because the car was sold that day and had not yet entered the system as sold, but had exited the system when she looked at it in the morning? Josh, the sales manager, said they update things at midnight. Like I said, I'm unlucky. The other bit where there is room for improvement is how somehow the different departments can fail to sync up; I guess I should have been "showroom" or something, but when I asked the front desk for the person I was speaking with by name, she said "oh you're PDC" and "she's not around". Josh said she was, but somehow there was a disconnect. I just showed up at the address they texted me and asked for the person by name - that should hopefully work! But Josh clearly cares about getting things right (he wasn't happy about the water thing for example, haha), not just burnishing reviews, so I am raising my rating. It isn't yet a 5 star experience because of the room for improvement, but they are also looking for another car for me - maybe the whole thing can be redeemed. Original review: What a horrible experience. They said they had the car I was looking for that I found on their website. I said, "you've got the blue Model Y, right?" Yes. "Ok, because I'm driving 2 hours." Well, I get there and suddenly it's not there. Did they sell it out from under me or did they have some false listing to pull people in? I don't know and they wouldn't say. Also when I got there, the lady I spoke with was not around so they eventually found someone. Though I mentioned my drive, they didn't offer a water or anything. Just seemed like a disorganized operation. Then the lady I spoke with called me this morning and said " you never showed up, will you come in today?" Like what the heck. I explained what happened and she got defensive instead of apologetic. Burned a tank of gas and 6 hours for nothing and everyone I spoke with seemed either evasive or clueless. What a horrible overall experience. More
