Mrs. Kelley, We are sorry you are experiencing issues with your vehicle. We strive to make every vehicle we sell in great physical and operational shape before we sell it. Unfortunately, we can't always see what may occur in the future and that's why we prefer selling vehicles that are under factory warranty like yours so at least if something happens we can take care of it for our customers. When reviewing your service file that Ford/Lincoln shows, it doesn't reflect repairs from the previous owner as you stated. If you're seeing something Ford/Lincoln doesn't show us, we sure would like to see it. Regardless, once again we are sorry you are experiencing any issues at all. I would be very glad to share screenshots showing the service history dates from the previous owner. I will update my review to include these details since I can't add them directly to this response. This is proof that the electrical issues went fixed before and after I purchased the car! I don’t expect you to “see what may occur in the future”.

Our goal as a dealership with 65 years of experience is to ensure that we are transparent and fair to all our customers. One of the fair practices we follow is not holding vehicles for customers. We will make the exception when a bank or credit union sends us a drafting letter (which is typically an email confirming their intent to fund the loan), and 99.9% of the time, we receive these letters. In this particular case, your bank sent us a photo of a handwritten check, which is not a standard practice. However, the primary reason we could not hold the vehicle was that your granddaughter had not yet had the opportunity to test drive it, and she was not fully committed to the purchase at that time. The positive outcome is that the vehicle remained available, allowing her to test drive it and proceed with the purchase. She expressed significant excitement about her new car, and we were equally pleased to assist her throughout this process. We have no record of prior interactions with you or any purchases made in our dealership, so we are uncertain about the source of your concerns. Nevertheless, we are delighted to have been able to support your granddaughter in her purchase and look forward to the opportunity to assist her again in the future.

Look at your salesman’s phone. There was a commitment. at 1:20pm. I sent him a picture of her text when I asked her if she still wanted the ford fusion at 12:36pm and she replied yes. And I asked him to please put fuel in it. He put a half a tank.
