I bought 2 vehicles, both used. My Corvette has been in the shop for almost 3 weeks for a single repair. I was told on numerous occasions the part was on order. I went by today and was told the part was no the shop for almost 3 weeks for a single repair. I was told on numerous occasions the part was on order. I went by today and was told the part was not there for the third time.Since I bought the car it has been in the repair shop there longer than at my home. The other car, a Cobalt, runs well so far, except for a minor brake squeek.I received a very good loan rate, but my credit is excellent(paid cash for the Cobalt). The personnel there are very courteous and professional, but why does it take 3 weeks to fix a steering gear box?If it weren't for the glacially slow repair Dept., I would have bought additional vehicles from them.I am uncertain if I should buy more if they can't make simple repairs in a timely fashion.
