I quickly had her switch sides, knowing something was seriously wrong. The next morning, I contacted Jim Shorkey Ford in White Oak. Within days, their valet service made things incredibly convenient by picking up my vehicle—despite being nearly an hour away. As a working mother, I can’t emphasize enough how valuable and appreciated that service is. Ford, thank you for recognizing the real-life needs of your customers. After replacing the tire sensors, Service Advisor Robert Reese noticed water stains along the third-row paneling and the second row had soaked seats and flooring. He immediately called to let me know they’d investigate further. They discovered a faulty seal on the left rear door window and clogged panoramic sunroof drains—both contributing to the water intrusion. Robert didn’t just fix the issue—he went above and beyond. He had his team clear the drains, lift the wet carpeting, and ensure everything was properly dried to prevent odor or damage. He even noted how clean I keep my car and made sure it was returned in pristine condition. Throughout the process, Robert kept me informed, treated every concern with care, and never once dismissed my input. It's clear that Jim Shorkey Ford only cares about maximizing their profits by taking advantage of their customers. I was pressured into purchasing a $1500 protection package (Luxcare XT) after exp maximizing their profits by taking advantage of their customers. I was pressured into purchasing a $1500 protection package (Luxcare XT) after explicitly declining it multiple times. Jim Shorkey Ford refused my request to refund my money and made no effort to resolve the issue. I expressed my concern to both the finance manager (Tony) and the general manager (Alfy), only to be told repeatedly that the car had already been treated and that the money was non-refundable. This excuse seems all too convenient for them. After looking into the Luxcare XT product further, it turns out to be nothing more than common paint sealant, wax, and water repellant - likely worth well less than $100. This product provides very little value for the absurd and unjustifiable cost of $1500. I feel exploited and ultimately deceived. The sales process at Jim Shorkey Ford is intentionally confusing and predatory. I'm shocked that a reputable business would refuse to refund my money for a product that I'm extremely dissatisfied with and didn't want to buy in the first place. More
