I purchased a 2014 Nissan Versa Note from John Hiester Chevrolet in Lillington North Carolina December 2024. From day one the car started having issues. The dealership did offer assistance and replaced a Chevrolet in Lillington North Carolina December 2024. From day one the car started having issues. The dealership did offer assistance and replaced a serpentine belt that was almost broken into. I started hearing a squealing noise on the first day I drove at home. When they replace the serpentine belt they assured me that was the issue. Several times later I drove the car to the dealership with the same issue. They never admitted to the hearing the squealing noise. Over a period of several months back and forth with the dealership they finally admitted to hearing the squealing noise, the mechanic said it was a bearing so they replaced that. The noise did stop. About the same time I noticed my car was hesitating when accelerating and jerking when changing gears. I took it back to the dealership for a complimentary inspection. During the inspection the mechanic said he couldn't find anything wrong. I requested the mechanic ride with me so I could pinpoint the issue that I was talking about. The mechanic road with me and I pinpointed the problem. I thought I was having transmission issues, but the mechanic suggested that it was not an issue with the transmission but instead a issue with the gas system. He recommended that I buy seafoam and put in the gas tank for treatment. Under his advisement I did that. Then it created a bigger issue. Gas mixed with my oil. This resulted in a knocking noise in the engine. Once again they denied any thing was wrong with the vehicle. Now my car will only get over 40 miles per hour. I took it and had it checked and it threw a code that results in several issues possible to do with the engine and gas system. I do not recommend any one buying a used vehicle from this dealership.
