I had a mechanic in town put a screen in for me for less than 250.00 I recogn if you don't want spend the big bucks with them they don't want your business. More
Service dept had my 2004 XLR for over 3 months with over 1,500 dollar invoice and the car's charging system is inoperable; the same way as when I brought it in. I paid for 2 computer modules, which they couldn't get to communicate with each other...the convertible top will not work; the car will not start !!!! They will not or cannot fix it and will not refund my money so I can take it to a shop that can repair it properly. All they've offered is one free diagnostic hour. Ha, ha, ha, they couldn't do the proper diagnosis in three months, but they can in one hour. How stupid do they think this woman is...not! More
i have a 2005 chevy silverado 2500LT 4x4 that i love very much. i have had issues with rust at the bottom of all the doors. each time i took my truck to Salem autobody super center that Jeff or Johnny always much. i have had issues with rust at the bottom of all the doors. each time i took my truck to Salem autobody super center that Jeff or Johnny always were very friendly and professional to me, and made me feel more than just a customer. each time the work was impeccable and done with professionalism. the last incident in November 2011 the left rear door had to be replaced and the job that was done matching the paint on a 5 year old truck was perfect, job was done in a very timely manner, and i believe Mr. Jones has done a very good job by having Jeff and Johnny handling the autobody super center. also here in October i had explained to them that their service manager in Corydon had been very rude and was not willing to take care of me with a speedometer problem, which actually had a previous recall, and was told their was nothing he could do to help. Jeff from the autobody super center advise me to speak with the service manager at Salem super center, and the issue with the speedometer was taken care with Chevrolet paying for parts, and me paying the labor which was a very fair arrangement. i met two wonderful service advisors in Salem, Don Skaggs, and Monty Ball. Upon taking care of the speedometer, they performed a 27 point inspection and it was found that there were some agressive issues that needed to be addressed immediately. Monty had quoted all the parts and labor to an exact dollar amount for all of the repairs to be completed, giving me a very fair quote. I set up an appointment and took in my truck and had the work completed. Which Ricky, one of the service techs., did an outstanding job on the repairs. After completion of the repairs, Salem employees were kind enough to wash my truck for free, and I will definitely be returning to have additional service work completed in the near future. I also want to personally thank Bob Hunt, service manager, for his assistance in making sure that the repairs were completed correctly and promptly, and as a former mechanic I have dealt with many dealerships and found that this dealership goes above and beyond to make sure their customers are completed satisfied. I have purchased 3 new vehicles from John Jones, and in the near future I will be purchasing another from them. All my service work will continue to be completed by the Salem service center. I bought my 2010 Buick LaCrosse at the Salem dealership in March 2010 only after my dealer in Louisville, failed to get me the deal I needed. Since Salem is about 50 minutes from Louisville I get any kind of warranty work done at my local Buick dealership. I recently had a issue that was boarder line warranty work.....Long story short my local Buick dealer wouldn't take care of me. So I went back to Salem and they took care of me with no questions asked. My service Advisor Don Skaggs kept me current on everything they were testing and checking. After their review they ended up fixing the issue at no charge. This is the kind of customer service you expect from a great dealer. My business is secure with them. Thanks Guys!!! More

Don was very thorough and very friendly. He explained, in detail, what was wrong with my vehicle and why it was causing my problem. He didn't mind me calling every few hours to get an update on my vehicle's detail, what was wrong with my vehicle and why it was causing my problem. I have a warranty on my vehicle, and he made sure to call them to be sure on my pricing. The price was very fair. Don even told me things to keep an eye on to be sure the problem was fixed! I have recommended numerous customers to Scott over the past years. Monte Ball is the service writer whom I do business with most often. Monte watches over the service record on both of my vehicles (both bought here0 and has helped to keep my vehicles in the same condition as they were when I purchased them. Work is completed on time and when the weather permits I am given a courtesy wash on the vehicle. John Jones and I also have a wonderful arrangement where I drop the vehicle off on my way to work, someone takes me to work, they bring the vehicle to me when the work has been completed, and I stop off at the end of the day to pay the bill or do so over the phone. I do not have the inconvenience of sitting in a waiting room while my vehicle is being worked on. This is greatly appreciated. More

After being treated very rudely by Hubler in Bedford, whom I had dealt with the dealership location for YEARS, I got hold of John Jones in Salem who got me in immediately - I had a service engine light o whom I had dealt with the dealership location for YEARS, I got hold of John Jones in Salem who got me in immediately - I had a service engine light on that had been on for several days. As busy as they were, they put my car on the diagnostic machine immediately and found that I had a real problem and got it fixed right then and there. Don Skaggs went out of his way to provide exceptional customer service! I would most definitely recommend them to everyone I know (and am taking every opportunity to let people know just how great the John Jones folks are!) Everyone was extremely nice while I was waiting to get my car fixed, without being pushy. Thank you to Don Skaggs and all the personnel at John Jones! More
