Kendall, we assessed and ran diagnostics on your 173,000 mile Commander that is have trouble with it's transmission. We also gave you a full diagnostics of other trouble that your car has with suspension and multiple leaks. We documented this and turned it over to you as well as allowed you and the technician to visit at length about it. Key spend 1.2 hours on this and only billed you 1 hour. You denied all fixes and said you wanted to do the work yourself and we understand that. This complaint is not fair and not accurate to the service you receivedl Not sure why you would rate us this way but you're welcome to call the General Manager, Randy Allison at 309-314-3086 and discuss further, he left you a message on your phone.

I called and spoke with Randy yesterday. He offered another diagnostic on my transmission at no additional cost. I have been a mechanic for 36 years. Just so you're aware, I brought my jeep into the service shop with 5 active codes. I expected to have a discussion on one of the codes, but was told by the technician your scanning tool was not connected to my vehicle. I checked the transmission fluid level when I returned home to ensure it was within the range as specified for my transmission. It was low, but above the minimum requirement. I also verified the 5 active codes were still active. My concern is P0731. I think this is the reason why my transmission is not shifting. To understand why this code is active, it requires a service tool that is too expensive for me to justify purchasing it. This is the reason I brought my jeep to the shop, I need that data to make my next decision on troubleshooting my transmission. I have asked, twice, for the list of codes that were active on my jeep. They should match mine. They are not listed in my paper work. Only visual inspections are documented. Your list of fixes recommended for my jeep are not the cause for my transmission issue. However, I appreciate the information that was provided. I believe my review is fair and accurate unless there is a list of codes that were read and data on the input/output speed sensors in the transmission. I was told this information is not available. If that information can be provided, then I'll remove my reviews posted on social media sites. For your future customers, I encourage you to add the list of active codes in the paper work that is provided. This will allow them to better understand why the check engine light is on and help them to make decisions to resolve their issues. Thank you for following up on this review.
