I was in town visiting with family when my check engine llight came on in my Jeep Libery. My knowledge of cars is very limited so I immediately called to make an appointment. Fast, efficient and courteous. We were visiting from out of town and Blaine took us right in to check on our check engine light. Within 30 minutes Blaine found that the problem was a loose gas cap and we we of town and Blaine took us right in to check on our check engine light. We had been in Cape May for a vacation and had some issues with our Jeep needing service. Loretta was wonderful to "squeeze" us into her schedule to get our Jeep back to us as quickly as possible. We had to utilize a rental car and Blaine had helped to place us in one. Being on vacation, this is not what we had on our itinary, but Loretta and Blaine made It effortless and a pleasure to deal with the situation. So much so, that we ended up coming back to Cape May the next weekend and scheduled to get our oil changed while we were in the area. Again, we were in and out of the Quick Lanes very quickly. I have been going there the last few years and e BEWARE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!! I have to warn you about this dealership for your own safety. I have been going there the last few years and experienced problems almost everytime. I took one car in to be looked at to pass inspection. After spending lots of money, it failed inspection. I was surprised when the same thing happened with a different car. Every time I call them, I have to speak with at least two people to ask for the service department...inefficient. Then when I actually get thru...Linda sounds annoyed like I am bothering her. It was not just my family either, apparently it is her personality. Hey Kindle, how about a direct phone line dedicated to the service department? I took it across the street to the other dealer and my experience was so amazingly positive and professional I was shocked I had been putting up with Kindle for so long. I am more than annoyed that they have the Chrysler dealership for the area. They do not deserve it. Recently, our third car went in for service to Kindle and a few weeks later we broke down an hour north because they had not properly installed the brakes and smoke was pouring out of the car. The very last time we dealt with them, this week, they replaced two tires. They lowered the spare under the car and never raised it back up properly. We were driving up to AC last night and we heard a noise under the car every time we went over a bridge. Sounded like a scraping or a weird clank right under my feet. I was scared. Once off the garden state parkway, we got to a safe location, parked the car and noticed the tire dangling a mere four inches from the road. Who does this? How can you miss a detail like that? You are supposed to be a flippin mechanic. Double, triple check, HELLO? We had to drive five miles like that to get to a sunoco garage which was closed. Thank God there was a Pep Boys opened late who raised the spare for us and felt sorry for us enough to not charge us a dime. The icing on the cake is the mechanic at Pep Boys (45 minutes north) said he heard "horror stories" about Kindle Ford. He also admitted it could happen anywhere. But three strikes Kindle, you are out. My family will not be returning for repairs. You can't make this stuff up. This is a true story. These are issues of personal safety. They have put our lives in danger. Do you want that for your family? More
My parents have purchased their last few cars from Kindle and have all of their service work done there also. When my father passed away last year I began to take my moms vehicle in for service. I have fou and have all of their service work done there also. When my father passed away last year I began to take my moms vehicle in for service. I have found that the service personnel are extremely helpful, courteous and accomodating. This includes the courtesy van drivers, the payment counter personnel and of course Luke Wilson. May I also comment that the waiting area and rest room is very clean and the Keurig coffee maker helps you get thru the wait. More
