My Review of Koons Ford Of Annapolis:
IF YOU READ THIS YOU WILL BE SHOCKED!!!!!! I recommend that anyone who is thinking of buying from Koons Ford should run the other direction. I had the worst dealings with the sales people the main one being a man named Bruce. I contacted the dealership to buy a 2005 Excursion. When I call the talked with Bruce about a trade deal he told me that he would love to trade and he gave me a price for my car over the phone and then said the price for his Excursion was 25,500. Knowing the price was to good to be true I asked him againare you sure yours is 25,500. He stated yes that is the price. So thinking I was getting a great deal I decided to go buy an Excursion. So I dropped what I was doing because Bruce said he could not hold the car for anytime it was whoever came first. So I leave work cancel me Birthday party and get in the car and drive 300 mile to go get the Excursion. Now before I left to make the 6 hour trip I call and confirmed the price 2 other times. That makes a total of 4 calls confirming the price. So after driving 3 and a half hours I get a call from Bruce saying he made a huge mistake and told me the wrong price. The correct price was 32,000. So being over half way to the dealership I decide well I will go ahead and go anyway in hopes of working a deal. When I arrive I let Bruce and the sale manager know that I was unhappy that I rode 6 hours to be told they made a mistake and to top it off they both have attitudes. So then Bruce tells me he was wrong again the price is 34,500. So in the end the deal did not go through and I wasted 12 hours of my time and waste alot of gas money to get there. So the whole price changing tactic was thinking if I drive 300 miles I want leave without the Excursion. Boy were they wrong. I left by saying I was not pleased with there service and I would not recommend them to anyone. There reply was ok thanks.

My Review of Koons Ford Of Annapolis:
Was unlucky enough to be involved in a severe accident with my 5 month old Toyota, requiring extensive rear repairs. I requested the $6K in repairs be done at the Toyota body shop, thinking that they would be more knowledgeable on the subject. So far, 6 months later, the roof weather stripping (rain gutter) flew off in traffic, and the high-mount brake is not functioning. Koons has no interest in talking to me about the faulty workmanship, saying I need to deal with the insurance company. Insurance company says it was not done right the first time (I agree) and my beef should be with the body shop. I've dealt with body shop's in the past, and most take pride in their reputation. Apparently, Koons is not one of those companies. I will not deal with Koons again for any reason. Thanks for your time.

My Review of Koons Ford Of Annapolis:
Each time I've visited the service dept, I have been either ignored, treated disrespectfully, or my calls have not been returned. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealer until they fix the customer relations problems that they have in service.

So far, I've bought two new vehicles that could have been Ford products in the past 5 years. And I spend an average of $2,000 on service for my vehicles per year with a private mechanic, since Koons Ford's service department is so poorly motivated.

Considering all the money spent on attracting new customers, it just makes sense that they would try to keep the customers they already have. Not so, and it's sad, since I love my Ranger.

My Review of Koons Ford Of Annapolis:
We were satisfied with Koons at first until we realized that they neglected to tell us an important detail about our loan. We paid off $26,000 of a $26,400 and some change loan. We carried out the remaining $400 + thinking that our interest was accruing on that 400 or so dollars. Our billing statements indicated that our "next payment" was due two and a half years out since we paid so much on the original loan. The statements did not show that the interest accruing was based on the original loan amount. When I went to pay off what I thought was going to close to $500.00 I realized that I owed more than $1,200.00. I tried to settle this with the Toyota financing center, but they said to go through Koons since it was the dealer's fault. I tried to get some, if not all, of my money back but they ignored me. I went the Maryland Attorney General's Office, but Koons still ignored me. Therefore, I would not recommend Koons to my worst enemy!

My Review of Koons Ford Of Annapolis:
I had a vehicle taken in for repairs and body work from an accident. They made the repairs to the vehicle and were instructed to contact me with an estimate for the body damage. 9 days later I still had no phone call and when I called them was told "o yea the reapirs are all done and the estimate was with the ticket. "I asked why no one called me and why I was not give the estimate for the body work. The contact Bill Smith told me he did not know and acted as if he really did not care. It cost me several days of unnessary rental usage becouse they decided that the customer don't matter and don't need to call them and keep thier word with us. I would not recommend this dealership for any service, repair or purchases. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a dealership.

My Review of Koons Ford Of Annapolis:
The service dept is non-responsive to customers. They don't call when they say they will, they don't finish work on time, they refuse to provide loaner vehicles even when it's their fault the car has to be kept over, and several times we had to take our car back because the service they performed wasn't done correctly. They're usually very nice and apologetic, but that doesn't get the job done on time, or correctly. We bought our Explorer here and when it's time for another car we'll go elsewhere.
