Steve indicated this would be taken care of at no charge due to a factory warranty saving me $460.38 cents. Bear in mind my Buick Enclave is a 2008 with over 70,000 miles on it. Nice savings I must say. I may have spent over 3 hours waiting for my repairs to be completed, a time well spent. Thanks Steve and the mechanic(s) that put my Enclave back in excellent shape. I feel much safer now for all your efforts. Bernie Farrell More

Mr. Jones worked with me to repair what was essential and went out of his way to find less expensive parts. He called frequently with status updates and was very easy to get in touch with when I had any questions. The repairs were performed quickly and accurately. Before I brought my car here, it had been serviced at many different shops around the NoVA area, each time for the same problem. Since having it repaired at Koons Tysons GM Service Center, I haven't needed any additional repairs. I highly recommend this service center, and Mr. Jones, for repairs. More
Very poor customer service. This is our 1 and only car as a family of four. Twice we have brought it in only to chase up answers for simple recalls. If we had known we needed a service history to get a as a family of four. Twice we have brought it in only to chase up answers for simple recalls. If we had known we needed a service history to get a recall taken car of we would have done this before leaving our car for the day. Silly explanations are provided, such as "the people who make the booking for the day aren't mechanically inclined". To ask a customer if they had been serviced by Koons or elsewhere is not difficult and does not require being a mechanic. Furthermore, I feel like I'm leaving my car on a conveyor belt and that often it is left to sit or lost in the shuffle like mail lost in transit. The answers you get are so disconnected from the service that you feel like no one really knows what is going on and they are just feeding you the company line. Please guys, their are A LOT of recalls on my Chevy Equinox that you need to fix. So get it together. More
I came across Koons while price shopping some work for a friends GMC Denali. Being a mechanical Engineer, and owning two GM products (2010 Custom Camaro, 2008 Buick Enclave), I had some experience with deal friends GMC Denali. Being a mechanical Engineer, and owning two GM products (2010 Custom Camaro, 2008 Buick Enclave), I had some experience with dealers, however My Last two dealers (Criswell Chevrolet where I bought my Camaro, and Ourisman Chevrolet who worked on both) Ouresman Chevrolet (who had recently done work on both my cars) were on my “Do not fly list” due to poor service, inflated pricing, and failing to do what they promised. Mike Calman had provided much better pricing for a waterpump for my buddy’s Denali and my conversation with him made me feel he wanted to make a returning customer rather than a high margin like many of the others. So, I had this rear axle noise id been putting up with in the back of my Camaro for over a year. Criswell misdiagnosed it, charged me for a differential service (apparently not part of the factory 100k warrantee). When I showed them it did nothing to cure the problem, not only did they not refund the charge, but they made excuses saying it’s probably due to worn tires or worn brakes. (both of which were checked as good in the multipoint inspection they did during that visit). After some letter writing , they said they would try again, but would not make adjustments for the indirect work done. I swore never to go there again (and I’ve kept that promise). Enter Ourisman, they diagnosed the problem correctly and identified the service bulletin to fix it, but to install two $10 washers onto the axle shafts, it called for about $350 in labor. I decided after a positive conversation with Mr Calman I would test this ongoing problem with him and Koons. Well he had me bring it over, I had to commit to a diagnostic (would be part of any service fee I paid) but if he managed to get it covered by GM, all would be free. I got an email shortly after I dropped it off with a link to monitor the work status. That was a first, nice touch I thought. Anyway the next day he called me and said I have good news, we got GM to cover it, and it’s all fixed. Let us know when you will be at the Metro and our shuttle will pick you us and you can get your car. Boy was that easy. I’ve been putting up with that noise forever, and previous dealers just look at me like another opportunity. Thankyou Koons, you made a believer out of me. Patrick More
I had a small misunderstanding about the repair of my car. I left the dealership really angry even though they gave me a free oil change and a partial refund. The management called me the next day and ap car. I left the dealership really angry even though they gave me a free oil change and a partial refund. The management called me the next day and apologized and explained the situation. They were very courteous and very professional. Though I had a mixed experience, I will probably go back again. More

I traded in my The staff at Koons has been very nice, answering all of my questions, and providing me with reassurrance in regards to my vehicle. I traded in my 10 year old Jaguar for a "certified" Buick Enclave about 6 months ago in hopes of getting a family car that would accomodate a new mother to be (me) and to help the American Economy by investing in an American vehicle. I have had nothing but malfunctions, replacements of major operating units-(water pumps, window harnesses, you name it), and breakdowns leaving a pregnant woman on the side of the road in the cold. Two days after we purchsed the vehicle, I noticed that the roters would need replacing. My husband took the vehicle back to Koons and was told that they were fine. I then had to take the vehicle back a couple of days later where they then agreed that they were in need of being replaced. This was the beginning of continual trips to the service department just about 3-4 weeks since 6 months ago. The only positive news at this point is that I have gotten to know the nice Koons service staff & enterprise rental agents & that my vehicle is still under warranty. The whole experience with the Koons sales department was great, however, the quality of the certified vehicle that I have purchased from Koons should not be a reflection of the GMC/Buick line nor Koons that I have invested in. In actuality, I would still like to speak with someone about how possibly GMC/Buick could help me with my vehicle at this time. More

I drove to Koons Service first thing this morning, without an appointment and the service folks sent me over to Body Shop. I cannot overstate how happy i was with their service in the body shop. Took most of the day to fix the problem, but i talked with them on the phone three times, and everything worked at the end of the day. Great service, fixed the problem, on time and on quote.
