Took in my Chevy Tracker in late October for a repair under extended warranty -- the engine threw a rod and punctured the engine block. The service writer kept saying the warranty would pay for a rental, and the boneheads at the warranty service center kept telling me to deal with the service guy are my conduit to them. Now, GM Protection Plan only wants to pay for eight days of rental, and the dealership is denying any culpability. More

It was a nightmare, I dropped my car off and they didn't even call me to let me know they was not doing work on it so I would have to drop it off the next day.
