Lemieux & Son Toyota doesn’t care about their customers, at least that’s how the service manager, Don, makes you feel. My 2023 Tundra engine turned off on me as I was on my way up-north last week. The at least that’s how the service manager, Don, makes you feel. My 2023 Tundra engine turned off on me as I was on my way up-north last week. The next day, Don advised me the engine was seized, and that it would a while before I received my truck back. When I asked how long “a while” was, Don began telling me that the truck had to be looked at by Corporate Toyota, who would in-turn determine if the truck would be receiving a short-block or long-block. Then once that’s determined, it would likely take a while for parts to come in, then more time for install. Don advised me that Lemieux & Son Toyota doesn’t give out loaner vehicles, but offered a small vehicle (sedan) through Enterprise Rent-a-Car. I politely explained to Don that I needed a truck to be covered, as I use my truck to make a living; Don didn’t care in the least bit, and just kept repeating that Toyota will only cover $50/day. With the MASSIVE issue Toyota is having with the Tundra engines seizing-up (over 100,000 engines), you would expect Toyota to cover a loaner vehicle (full-size pick-up truck) out of good-faith. Let alone when I need my full-size pick-up truck to make a living. If I knew I would be treated like this by Lemieux & Son Toyota, I would’ve paid out-of-pocket to have my Tundra towed to a dealership who actually cares about their customers. I did reach out to Corporate Toyota, and all they did was give me the run-around, then told Don to call me back. When Don called, I asked him what the status of my truck was; Don stated they were waiting on a new engine from Corporate Toyota. I was happy to hear this as I would prefer a long-block (a full-engine assembly), instead of a short-block. I asked Don to further elaborate, at which point it went from my truck getting a new engine, to ‘Corporate Toyota is still determining whether they’re going to try fixing the engine with a short-block, or sending a new engine (long-block). It should be noted that throughout the conversation, Don appeared angry with my questions/statements, and would constantly talk-over me and raise his voice, which is extremely unprofessional! I WILL NEVER RETURN TO LEMIEUX & SON TOYOTA. -Avery More
Nice location and facility. Challenges: 1. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle from Le Mieux the vehicle was hit from behind when stopped at a red light. Because I purchas Challenges: 1. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle from Le Mieux the vehicle was hit from behind when stopped at a red light. Because I purchased the vehicle through Le Mieux, and they are a Toyota new and used shop, I assumed they would be the best place to have a bumper repair completed. This work was completed via an insurance claim. Le Mieux issued an estimate without looking at the damage. They were booked months out. I requested the vehicle receive an inspection since it was a new vehicle and the estimator never physically looked at the vehicle prior to creating the estimate. I was told I can pay for an inspection if I wanted one done. When the bumper was replaced and I was trying to receive the vehicle back the insurance company was trying to have me pay extra days for a rental vehicle. I told Le Mieux about the situation and they were unwilling to help. The insurance company has a 3 day limit on rental vehicles for a bumper replacement. Le Mieux had the vehicle for roughly a week. I paid for an inspection to be done and they found issues to fix. 2. Additionally, When I arrived to pick the vehicle up, the quality of work was poor. The bumper did not fit on the vehicle correctly and the color was from any distance or direction obviously different than the rest of the metal and plastics. They told me it was acceptable work. I was not able to connect with a manager same day and was told to pay now and "because they are a reputable business things would be fixed". It took weeks of return trips to the dealership during my work day. I was given multiple excuses from Le Mieux as to why it was the way it was. I repeatedly requested the vehicle or bumper be looked at a second time and correctly aligned. Maybe there was more impact damage than just a plastic bumper cover. I never once asked for any monetary compensation. This was a new vehicle and I wanted it to look and function as such. They ended up telling me to accept a portion of the claim money back for the poor work or get lost. I now have a new vehicle that looks old, may have frame damage, and not enough money to fix any of it. 3. I eventually spoke with the owner and was told I can wait for another 4runner to arrive and see if I am interested. This would cost roughly $5,000 to $8,000 more than I originally spent. All while interest rates were increasing. I was directed to work with my original sales person. I communicated I was not wanting to pay more and was told, "you'll like the tires better on the one we have your name on because they're better in the winter". I have had the original 4runner for 2 winters now and the replacement 4runner "with my name on it" HAS NOT YET ARRIVED. I reach out monthly for updates with little to no response. However, I am always asked how many miles are on my existing vehicle so they can adjust how much more I pay to swap the 4runners out. 4. Terrible customer service. The departments work in silos and expect the customer to pass information along between employees/departments. 5. After purchase, the vehicle Title was sent to the wrong party. I had to fix the issue directly. 6. A week after purchasing the vehicle, Le Mieux wanted to completely remove the automatic starter (in place when purchased) from the vehicle after the key fab stopped working. 7. When local dealerships were straight forward about offering a minimum $4,000.00 trade in, Le Mieux was not. Multiple conversations occurred before they would offer a max trade in of $4,000. 8. I have not been happy with how Le Mieux implements Toyota care. Toyota care will not be a selling point in my eyes for future purchases. There are plenty more examples and specifics. I hope this is enough context to help someone looking to purchase a Toyota or thinking about doing business with Le Mieux. More

Go anywhere else to purchase or lease a vehicle. If you're sold on the Toyota brand, research and find another dealer, a regional broker, or even a national broker. LeMieux pads (and lies about) their you're sold on the Toyota brand, research and find another dealer, a regional broker, or even a national broker. In early October 2017.The place was hopping but not one person even made eye contact with me inside the dealership. I was there for at least 20 minutes between inside and outside time. While inside the building I crawled into the backseat of the Highlander to check out the space. Even then nobody bothered to come up And say they were busy and I will get with you later. Nobody came up and gave me a card or even acknowledged me. Was it because I was a woman? I returned on Black Friday to take a test drive of a Highlander. my sales person was courteous. I took a test drive , came back and we chatted for five minutes. He gave me a price but did not even ask for phone number. really didn't think that he was that interested in making a sale. I probably will go elsewhere to purchase my Highlander this week! More

Further, th The dealership service people are courteous, but the service department did not fix the problem with the back door on my 2016 Highlander. Further, they are content knowing that it is not fixed. I've brought in the Highlander several times to get the back door fixed. The last time, they acknowledged it was not fixed but said there is nothing more they can do. A couple of Saturdays ago, we had some food fall to the ground while we were trying to open the back door. More

Worst customer service! I had stopped to look at used, tried a few out. Salesperson had no enthusiasm to sell. I emailed after to ask a question, no response!I emailed sales I had stopped to look at used, tried a few out. Salesperson had no enthusiasm to sell. I emailed after to ask a question, no response!I emailed sales manager regarding question, told me they were real busy and someone get back to me soon, well you guessed it, they never called me back. Follow up is #1 when it comes to basic selling. They could have had my money weeks ago, but never returned a call including their management. No follow up=no sale. I would recommend any dealer over this mickey mouse operation. If this is how you are treated before the sale you can expect the same after.Take heed and you will thank me later. More
