The first time was for the initial service after buying the car new. It was supposed to take 40-60 minutes. It ended up being over 4 hours. The service manager apologized profusely promised my next experience would be handled by him personally and that it would be given the utmost attention. So second visit, for service and state inspection plus check a tire pressure signal. Had to replace all 4 tires less than a year after purchase due to nail in one tire. They had to keep the car overnight (10.30 am drop off) because they could not finish the inspection, oil change and tire replacement all in one day. They gave me a rental car, which they pointed out they so generously did not charge me for renting. Then they completely forgot to due the sticker and service. So I have to go back again for another entire day. More

They had to right no cut my inspection sticker over "bad wipers" which are all weather from VIP and only a few months old. There is NOTHING wrong with them!!!! They also came up with a list of other problems. After a second opinion there is no issues with my car. The so called parts that I need were WAY OVER PRICED. I will NEVER buy a car again from Lee's nor will I ever take my car back there for any maintenance. I wonder how many other people they rob?!?!?!?! More

Richard Donnell I have been buying new cars at Lee Toyota of Topsham since 2003. In thirteen years I have never had a problem with either sales or service. Everyone I have been buying new cars at Lee Toyota of Topsham since 2003. In thirteen years I have never had a problem with either sales or service. Everyone is so willing to help that it helps procedures go smoothly for the customer. The most recent car I purchased was sold to me by Nicholas Lamoreau. There was never any pressure on me to hurry and buy. Nicholas was very aware of my needs and wants and took them into account during each step of the sale. Service has always been thorough and complete and everyone in the department is attentive. I will be returning to Lee Toyota of Topsham for many years to come. More
Terrible Service Experience! I had another disappointing experience with the Lee Toyota Service Dept. Brought our RAV4 in this morning for a factory recall. Left the vehicle and I had another disappointing experience with the Lee Toyota Service Dept. Brought our RAV4 in this morning for a factory recall. Left the vehicle and stated I would be back by 12:00 for pick up. Joey, the service rep assured me the work would be complete and the car would be washed and vacuumed out upon my arrival.....Great! 11:45-I arrive to find the work done but the car is outside waiting for a cleaning. 11:50-I am told it will only be 20 minutes and we will have the car finished if I can wait. No problem I say. I do not need to be anywhere until 12:30. 12:40- Our car is finally cleaned. Had been told a couple of times during my 55 minute wait that it "should be done soon". Told Joey that I never would have waited if it was going to take so long as now I am late. 12:45. -I leave the lot in the Rav4 only to discover the steering wheel was put on crooked, significantly crooked, and all the radio stations had been cleared and the clock was now an hour or so off. The latter issues were not that big of a deal. Especially if Joey had told me that the battery would be disconnected during the service work, but that did not happen. The crooked wheel was a big deal. It was not that way when I brought it in. No way a tech could not have noticed it.... I turn around and head back to Lee. Joey apologizes and I request that the wheel be installed correctly. The car is whisked away to service. 1:00- I voice my disappointment to Joey and state that paying attention to detail is something I look for in service. I state that this is one of the reasons I do not use Lee any longer for our service. The car arrives back with a straight wheel and I leave...again. Joey apologizes many times and is sincere....not entirely his fault. Summary-Lee messed up this service visit. I missed my 12:30 and spent an additional hour at service due to their mistakes. When I make a big mistake with a customer, I apologize and ask what I can do to "make it right". I usually offer something as a gesture of goodwill. The "Let me give you a discount on your next service" or "Can I offer you a complementary oil change for your troubles today" go a long way with customers. I may have been a bit less upset with Lee if I felt that they valued me as a customer and wanted my future business. However, that did not happen and I will continue to have our vehicles serviced elsewhere and will likely drive to Augusta for any future recall work. More
I went in for my first 5,000 mile service on my brand new 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD. Everything seemed to be going well. Had a good experience buying it and service seemed very friendly. My truck was ready in u 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD. Everything seemed to be going well. Had a good experience buying it and service seemed very friendly. My truck was ready in under half hour which did surprise me a little. As i went to get in my truck I noticed that the plastic over the door sill was all dirty with what looked like grease and dirt. I did not have the time to go back in and have them clean it so i figured i would do it when i got home. On my way home I took my hand from the steering wheel and noticed that their was grease all over the palm of my hand! At this point i was not very happy. Once I arrived home i noticed their was black greasy hand prints on the driver side door and on the rear door. I called the dealer ship to speak with the service manager and had to call back 3 times due to being disconnected. Finally when i got through i was left on hold for a extended period only to find out that the manager was no where to be found. I asked if he could be paged and she informed me that their new building was not capable of paging. I asked for a voice mail and was also informed he did not have a voice mail. The lady took my message and said she would pass it on. The manager did call me back and was very understanding but in my mind the damage had been done. Their was no excuse for such I thing to even happen. More
I came in this morning, I had lost power steering, and needed a new wheel bearing and a new power steering belt, along with regular maintenance. I purchased my vehicle at a different toyota dealership and needed a new wheel bearing and a new power steering belt, along with regular maintenance. I purchased my vehicle at a different toyota dealership and had never been here before. The service team got me in right away, and 8 hours later my car is ready for pickup and like brand new. Everyone was friendly, and fast and knew exactly what to do (I was totally panicking, I mean, my radiator was throwing smoke like my car was on fir or something, and the service tech came out right away which made me feel much better). I could not be more pleased with how today went, and usually I'm a bit more frugal, but in this instance, for the service I received and the reassurance that my car was in good hands, I have no qualms paying dealership service rates. I will definitely be making this my new service spot, and next year, my fiancee and I plan on buying a Tacoma, we will be coming back! Thanks! More
I brought my RAV4 2002 in because the engine light had been on for a couple of weeks and I was hearing an intermittent clunking sound with the brakes. I brought the vehicle in at 8:30 and was told it wou been on for a couple of weeks and I was hearing an intermittent clunking sound with the brakes. I brought the vehicle in at 8:30 and was told it would take an hour and a half for the inspection of these issues. I sat in the waiting room for almost 3 hours. No one came to tell me that it would be a little longer or that they were still checking things out. I finally went out to the service desk to ask about my car. Eric had just gotten the paper work. You can check your records, but they could not find anything significant with the engine light, so the mechanic (who finally made eye contact with me at the service desk) said that he turned it off. He also said that the front brake pads were ground down to fit the bracket and the pads were loose. He recommended replacing them. I made an appointment for the following week to have that done. The next day I drove the car and the engine light came on again, almost immediately. After sitting for almost 3 hours and paying $133.95 for the diagnosis and then seeing the engine light come on again, I cancelled the appointment and took the RAV to Berlin City Toyota in Portland. They also did a diagnostic on the engine light. They found rust on the gas cap; replaced it and cleaned the filler neck. Then they replaced the VVTI Oil Actuator. The engine light is still off! They did a brake inspection and said the front brake pads did not need to be replaced. I will not come back to Lee Toyota even though it is closer to my home! More
The moment I drove in I was promptly greeted by Devin and he assisted me in answering questions I had about my Avalon. I was in the dark about Bluetooth and wireless tech. I had questions about what certain he assisted me in answering questions I had about my Avalon. I was in the dark about Bluetooth and wireless tech. I had questions about what certain buttons did and on the spot he knew which did what and when to use them. I'm very impressed that it cost me nothing! Beautiful facility and well kept staff! More
