Called yesterday and something was wrong with their phones and they kept cutting off the call. I called the service Dept and said I needed and new battery. That lady switched me to the parts Dept and t phones and they kept cutting off the call. I called the service Dept and said I needed and new battery. That lady switched me to the parts Dept and the man said, uh yeah we have a battery for your car. I asked if they would install it and he said, uh yeah and switched me to service. Same lady as before. She put me on hold a couple of times and the said Di you have a 2011 Outback. I said yes. She said hold on. The came back and said they could install it tomorrow, would that work? I said no because it’s going to be about 7 degrees out/snowing. I told her that I had been a customer for years and I would get the battery elsewhere. They are so disorganized. They used to be a great place. Not sure what has happened but I will use a different dealership. By the way, I needed the battery today, not tomorrow. More
I received a flyer in the mail from Lees Summit Subaru advertising a full synthetic oil change for $64+. I called and they stated they serviced other cars such as my Ford Escape but that it would cost mo advertising a full synthetic oil change for $64+. I called and they stated they serviced other cars such as my Ford Escape but that it would cost more since it’s not a Subaru. It was my understanding the price would be $71+. I also needed a 6th quart of oil at $9.50 a quart (5 quarts at the auto store is about $25.00). I received my bill for $100.00. I brought to their attention the coupon I presented upon arrival and they discounted $5.00 making my oil change $95.00. That’s highway robbery and way more than I expected. Looking at the itemized bill the separated-out labor cost at $26.00+parts, taxes, disposal fee. I was misled from the beginning. From the advertising mailer to the service writer. I will not be using this dealership for any service which is a shame because I was actually going to look at purchasing a Subaru. But not from this dealer. I hate being taken advantage of. Dishonest misleading business practices are an abhorrent deal breaker. More
I would give negative stars if I could. I purchased my 2020 Forester last June in Washington state. This is my second Forester. The last one I had for 10 years and maintained it perfectly, every 30k major 2020 Forester last June in Washington state. This is my second Forester. The last one I had for 10 years and maintained it perfectly, every 30k major fluids changed, 120k timing belt, water pump, fluids and drive belts. ANYTHING that came up with my car I fixed it right away and at the dealership. So WHY tell you all this? Because this dealership is all about the bait and switch. I brought my 2020 in for an oil change after driving it across the country. The advisor told me my alignment was out and I needed a tire rotation. You get one complimentary alignment in your first 3/36 warranty. I did agree to the tire rotation because the higher tread was in the back. They charged me $30 for a tire rotation! That is absolutely a rip off. Most of the time an oil change will go through the quick lube size which the tech is paid an hourly rate, not flat rate which means he isn't making any more money for doing it. Lets just say that a flat rate tech did my oil change because there was the alignment as well... my car was already in the air and my wheels should have already been off to check the brakes properly. Even if my wheels weren't off a flat rate tech should not have to put $30 worth of effort into moving tires. ALSO, the advisor did not mention it was a $30 charge for a TIRE ROTATION. Let's think about this.... the minimum wage in Missouri is $8.60 this oil change would is worth 3.5 hours of work? How in the heck does this add up? I come from the dealership world. This is extremely disheartening and this is why people do not trust dealerships. My apple car is not working on my $36,000 car. I called to make an appointment because this is an on going issue. The woman I spoke with told me she would charge me for a rental if it was within my warranty? I am within my 3/36 and I know its a car issue. I have no other signs of any type of damage (rodent or otherwise). THIS DEALERSHIP WILL TAKE ALL THEY CAN GET FROM YOU! GO TO OLATHE SUBARU! I am a key toss customer that trusts her advisor and I pay to fix and maintain my car. Unfortunately, this dealership just lost a customer. More
Do not have your Subaru serviced here!! My experience with Lee's Summit Subaru was one of the worst experiences of my life. Long story short. I had my 2011 Subaru Outback taken to this dealership for rep with Lee's Summit Subaru was one of the worst experiences of my life. Long story short. I had my 2011 Subaru Outback taken to this dealership for repairs. My engine was overheating. They had my car for a week, I had to call almost everyday to figure out where they were at with my repair. They had replaced my timing belt, water pump, head gaskets, etc $3000. Sucks but I needed it repaired. Thought I would have a brand new car essentially with how much was done to it. Car didn't feel right when I got it back. So, 2000 miles later I am stranded on the side of the road, engine shaking. Took my subaru back to dealership where they said I needed new heads, repair is $4000. Uhh what. I just had my head gaskets replaced and what not. Was told this new problem had nothing to do with the repair two months ago. Took to another shop where they said that it was in fact due to something Subaru had done improperly. I contacted them to see if they would fix what they broke and nothing. Please do not use this dealership for repairs! Coming from and honest hard working woman! More

Extremely long wait times staff has no idea what is going on I dropped my care off first thing in the morning(7:30) for a scheduled appointment to have a clutch problem fixed. I thought it was strange that I ha I dropped my care off first thing in the morning(7:30) for a scheduled appointment to have a clutch problem fixed. I thought it was strange that I had not heard anything from the dealership by 2pm so I called to see if there was some problem. The tech told me that no one had even looked at my car yet and that they were not sure if anyone would get to it today. I asked why I had not been advised that no one was available to look at my car and why they were scheduling appointments if no one was available, he just stated that they were busy. I told them to get my car ready that I was going to take it to another shop. I picked up my vehicle and there was quite a bit of confusion about where it was and it took a few minutes to track down anyone who knew anything about it even though I had just talked to the tech about 10 minutes prior on the phone. The paperwork stated that hey had done a multi-point inspection, changed the oil and identified brake wear but had nothing about the clutch problem other than a note to check it. I asked to talk to the manager and he was very unhelpful and just stated again that they were busy and that if i wanted to leave it they might still be able to get to it at some point later in the day but made no promises. I asked why all the service that i had not even asked for had been done and why the problem i brought it in for was not address and he had no answer other than some other type of tech does those things and that they were unrelated. I asked if it was normal to take an entire day just to have a tech look at a vehicle that had a know problem and he once again stated that they were busy and that there was nothing he could do about it. The manager made no attempt to make things right or to even apologize for wasting an entire day of my time. I would avoid this dealership in the future it is very unprofessional and bordering on dishonest and untrustworthy. More
Disrespectful, Uniformed, and Incompetent What a total waste of time and energy--especially when you don't even get the work that you were promised. I'd brought my car into this location awhil What a total waste of time and energy--especially when you don't even get the work that you were promised. I'd brought my car into this location awhile back for an oil change and decided to get an interior detail. As soon as I got in the car and pulled down the visor, it was covered in dirt. Then I opened the console, also covered in dirt. I made a yelp review at that time and the owner offered to top off my gas the next time I was in, so I STUPIDLY removed the Yelp review. On 2/27/2019, I went in for an oil change and concerns related to my undercarriage and tires due to driving through a crater on Ward Parkway. They found much damage to my vehicle, and suggested I needed to replace my fender liners, sway bar links, transcooler lines, and inner axle seals. They also mentioned my battery was getting low. It was late when I was there, and they did not have the parts I needed in stock. We agreed they would place the order and call me back. The next morning, conveniently and totally coincidentally, I am sure, my battery was dead. IT IS NOW ONE MONTH AND ONE DAY since I took my car in, and I have RECEIVED ZERO FOLLOW-UP. They did not call about my ordered parts or when I can come in. Apparently, I am supposed to drive in a compromised vehicle, and apparently they are so flush they do not need to conduct actual business. 1) Advice: DO NOT EVER COME HERE!! 2) Question: DOES ANYONE HAVE A CAR REPAIR SHOP THAT IS RELIABLE??? The response provided thus far was a private, rude, and unhelpful message sent to me by Jason Brink. More

For 30 minutes of works, it took them a 4 hours without telling me that they have missed my car. This place is so disorganized and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone whether to buy or service. More
