No reputable dealership sells a car with only one key. These guys even went so far as telling me that they do it all the time. I've bought a dozen cars and traded just as many, and this is inexcusable, when you trade, that's one of the first questions the dealer asks, do you have two keys? Coded keys run about $500 due to the cost of the programmer, unless you're a dealer and only deal with one manufacturer, then the cost of the software is MUCH lower. This is a money generating scam, all Lescovar had to do was take the blank coded key I have, and fix the issue, for virtually no cost to them, but they manager chose to balk. How in the heck were these guys named dealership or the year? And they have almost all 5 star reviews. I find them combative, and rude to deal with and I'll be sure to not let this issue go away. We’ve been car shopping for months, always walked away feeling very apprehensive to take the next step. Although we meant some nice dealers, I feel like Hugo was very real and relatable. His calm and laid back manner made it easy to make the decision without feeling pressured, and without feeling like we needed to “play the game.” The entire team was helpful. Halfway through paperwork we asked about changing one thing, and we didn’t need to make a case, they just said no problem. The car was priced to sell, they were even willing to show us what was actually being made on it without us asking. We new we were not being taken advantage of. They stayed later than open hours to finish the sale process and we never once felt rushed. With a big decision like this, they answered all our questions and made it work for us as we’d hoped.
