Excellent service as always! We have owned Toyotas for over 15 years and have always had great vehicles. Rarely have we had any problems where we needed to use the service center, We have owned Toyotas for over 15 years and have always had great vehicles. Rarely have we had any problems where we needed to use the service center, but Kelly Williams has always taken good care of us when we did. Where else can you go where you get EXCELLENT customer service EVERY TIME?! From the minute we drive into the garage until we take our car back home, Kelly makes sure to understand our problem and get things fixed for us. He communicates well, is honest and friendly and often goes above and beyond what is asked. A couple of times I was having trouble with my van seat belt not retracting. When I went by Toyota without an appointment, Kelly fixed the problem himself at no charge. Last week I took my van in due to a bad smell coming out of the exhaust. Kelly and 3 technicians looked it over and found nothing wrong with it. He refused to charge us anything because they hadn't found anything wrong. He and my husband decided it was bad gas causing the issue. WOW! That's customer service! Thanks, Kelly, and thanks to those great technicians in the service department! More

Frustrated with knowledge of staff I was disappointed when I bought my car in December, and my dissatisfaction has grown since then. I wanted a plug-in hybrid car. There was only one on the lot, and that was fine. But none of the sales people really knew anything about it beyond the talking points provided by Toyota. The one person who I was told was an expert on electric cars spent the whole time "teaching" me about the car by just messing around with the navigation system, but he clearly didn't even understand how it worked. The staff were not informed about what kind of outlet is needed to plug in the car at home, and they laughed it off when I asked questions and expressed frustration about the fact that they did not give me accurate information about what type of electrical outlet is necessary. They actually were wrong about what type of outlet is needed, but an electrician had to tell me that. If Lewis Toyota is going to be in the business of selling electric cars, the salespeople need to understand what they are selling and be able to speak accurately about the cars. I've never bought a used car in my life, and none of the staff explained how the process of buying a used car works. Instead they just called after I had purchased it and said I should pick up a title. There was some paperwork with minimal instructions in the packet I picked up, but I would have appreciated a conversation at the time of purchase about what to expect, including the vehicle inspection process, which was new to me. I really encourage the members of the sales team to listen a lot more and talk a lot less. Everyone I dealt with told me endless stories about themselves but didn't ask me anything. There were things I was interested in and concerned about, and my comments were always met with personal stories that didn't relate to my questions or needs. My understanding of salesmanship is to understand the customer’s needs and wants, not to tell stories about their own lives. One salesman even told me how he likes to fish and drive big trucks. I abhor both things and couldn't understand why he insisted on talking about himself. I think the men who work in the sales department also need to think carefully about how they talk to women. I was told more than once to ask my husband to help me with something, and I found that truly offensive. I also want to say that I have had nothing but positive experiences with the service department. I've taken my car there for many years and have felt like I was treated with respect and honesty. I will have no problem continuing to use the service department and recommending it to others. I cannot say the same of the sales department. More
