My Review of Loman Auto Group North:
When I first leased my Subaru from Loman there were no problems, everything was taken care of in a timely manner, and the service seemed on target. At the end of my lease, I decided to buyout the car, and returned to the the dealership to have it set up. Again, everything appeared OK initially, but my new plates never came in and I suddenly started getting calls from the finance company that backed my lease stating that they never recieved payment. I am now on my second temporary plate, and I have talked to the general manager personally.

He keeps assuring me that the problem will be resolved by the next day, then fails to call me back to let me know what is going on. No one over there seems to know what is going on. When I call customer service I get a run-around and get transferred around several times until someone finally again assures me that everything will be resolved by the next business day. The calls from my finance company, however, keep coming.

Frankly, this situation is ridiculous. I cannot front the 12,000+ dollars to resolve this on my own, and I am already paying into my new loan. Loman seems to be incapable of resolving this issue, and I fear it will be only a matter of time before the finance company ruins my hard-earned good credit rating, and/or threatens to reposses the car. I am stuck in a situation where a finance company is demanding that I pay a large sum of money that the dealership currently holds, I am stuck with a new loan that I am already paying into that WILL NOT satisfy the old finance company unless the dealership cuts them a check, I do not have my permanent plates and registration- only a temporary- the second one, and I will never get permanent plates until Loman figures out how to write a check. The finance company refuses to deal with the dealership directly since they are not legally obligated to- so in their eyes this is all on me, even though I have done my due dilligence. I was willing to be nice and cooperative a week or two ago, but I am past the breaking point.

Thank you Loman, for leaving me between a rock and a hard place. Your customer service is deplorable.

My Review of Loman Auto Group North:
xBuyers Beware! This is not a place to purchase your vehicle. My experience with this dealership was not pleasant.

I was very excited to be trading in my vehicle for a new SUV. I was ready to buy and began getting paperwork ready for my purchase. I was told "by the way, the car has over 1,000 miles on it" aside from the miles there where dents, dings and scrapes which all needed to be repaired. Why? I was told the owner takes out the cars and uses them for there personal use. So much for a new car. Make sure you look your potential car over and check mileage if you do purchase from them!

This was the last straw! I agreed to have loman auto group incorporate my last month payment, trade in fee and tax to the new vehicle. They claimed they would send the payment to the old financial institution. They never did! I began receiving phone calls from the old financial institution that payment was never received. I called dealer, they said payment was sent. I let this go. Then the calls began again, I called the dealership back and they claimed they sent the check to the wrong address and they would cut another check. Great! WRONG. I received more calls from the institution claiming no payment. I called back the dealership and then I was promised the payment would be sent electronically. FINALLY after 3 months i received my last phone call from the old financial institution sternly stating still no payment received. Now, my account is well over 60 days past due, and this is now affecting MY CREDIT!!!! I called the dealership back. Was put on hold for 45 mins and I was told to call there accounting department in Woodridge because all the workers calling from Loman couldn't get a straight answer from them. I called the accounting department only to hear the same story, sent to wrong address need to stop payment and send another. I said THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE LAST MONTH! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO SEND PAYMENT ELECTRONICALLY. The woman replies to me "oh, we don't send payments electronically"!!!

I was lied to, given the run around, no one cared about my situation, I was passed to (4) different people, my credit is damaged! Why on earth would you purchase a vechile from this establishment!

I resolved this situation myself, no help from loman auto group or the accounting department in Woodridge. I had to put over a thousand dollars on my personal credit card and demand they send me a check overnight!

My Review of Loman Auto Group North:
Bought a used vehicle on e-bay in 12 2008. Took forever to get it. Never received any paper work or title to this day. Over charged me for taxes that they collected for my state. Very bad! Do not do business with these scammers!
.
They have sent me 4 post cards to pick-up my title. Highly illegal.
The title belongs to me. So I got the new title in my state. So they can keep the old title now because it's worthless!

My Review of Loman Auto Group North:
This used to be Scerbo's when I bought my car. They were great, and went the extra mile when ever I needed it. Always a loaner, my sales rep dealt with me one business person to another in a service industry. Then Loman's bought the place and it's gone to the dogs ever since. All the Scerbo special oil changes, and car washes, etc. all declared null and void. No more loaners. Ever. What a difference of night and day. No customer service at all. Sure, they wanted to greet you with a smile ever time, but then they'd never do anything for you.
