My Review of Loman Auto Group North:
When I first leased my Subaru from Loman there were no problems, everything was taken care of in a timely manner, and the service seemed on target. At the end of my lease, I decided to buyout the car, and returned to the the dealership to have it set up. Again, everything appeared OK initially, but my new plates never came in and I suddenly started getting calls from the finance company that backed my lease stating that they never recieved payment. I am now on my second temporary plate, and I have talked to the general manager personally.
He keeps assuring me that the problem will be resolved by the next day, then fails to call me back to let me know what is going on. No one over there seems to know what is going on. When I call customer service I get a run-around and get transferred around several times until someone finally again assures me that everything will be resolved by the next business day. The calls from my finance company, however, keep coming.
Frankly, this situation is ridiculous. I cannot front the 12,000+ dollars to resolve this on my own, and I am already paying into my new loan. Loman seems to be incapable of resolving this issue, and I fear it will be only a matter of time before the finance company ruins my hard-earned good credit rating, and/or threatens to reposses the car. I am stuck in a situation where a finance company is demanding that I pay a large sum of money that the dealership currently holds, I am stuck with a new loan that I am already paying into that WILL NOT satisfy the old finance company unless the dealership cuts them a check, I do not have my permanent plates and registration- only a temporary- the second one, and I will never get permanent plates until Loman figures out how to write a check. The finance company refuses to deal with the dealership directly since they are not legally obligated to- so in their eyes this is all on me, even though I have done my due dilligence. I was willing to be nice and cooperative a week or two ago, but I am past the breaking point.
Thank you Loman, for leaving me between a rock and a hard place. Your customer service is deplorable.
