Luke The Service advisor said they might be able to splice the wire to get the windows working again. We have not been giving this option by other repair shops. The tech was able to repair the wire and we are able to use the windows after waiting over six months for a part. Thank you for looking for options to help your customers.I was told a dealer would be costly that was not the case the dealer was actually cheaper More
Had the 2 rear shocks seize up on 2019 Tahoe with 42,000 miles. I expressed my concern about the high replacement cost of over $1,600. I recieved a call from the service manager 4 days later. HORRIBLE experience and customer service Took my vehicle in for an oil change (which always takes 2+ hours, annoying! but I get it for free so that is why I do it) and the guy explained to me Took my vehicle in for an oil change (which always takes 2+ hours, annoying! but I get it for free so that is why I do it) and the guy explained to me that my brakes are bad and would need to get them changed, but said no worries you have our maintenance package and that will be free! I would just need to call in during the weekday because they didn't service on Saturdays. So I called in and explained to the guy what the other guy said and said but I don't want to get this done if its not free because my husband said he could just do it at home. The guy explained to me AGAIN nope, you have the maintenance package so maintenance will cover it! So we went ahead and scheduled the appt and went through the hassle of getting my vehicle there to get it done. Sure enough I get a call from Lucas and he says hey Brenna I haven't touched your vehicle yet because I just want to make sure you know this isn't going to be free! ……..needless to say I WILL NOT be going back here again! Terrible service! Spoke with the manager, Jeff, and the only thing he said they would do to make it right would be to deliver my vehicle home! More
2012 Ford F150 3.5 EcoBoost Motor Replacement So let me start ... I purchased my 2012 F150 EcoBoost Platinum from Lynch Ford in Mt. Vernon, IA in October of 2012 with good results. The reason I we So let me start ... I purchased my 2012 F150 EcoBoost Platinum from Lynch Ford in Mt. Vernon, IA in October of 2012 with good results. The reason I went to Lynch Ford was the fact that the dealership sold both Chevrolet and Ford. We purposely went there because we currently owned a Chevrolet Tahoe but were looking to purchase a new pickup and wanted to compare the two brands. We ended up purchasing our Demo 2012 F150 and definately understood why we purchased the Ford truck. It had everything we could ask for, from the power, roominess, and overall quality. We also purchased the EXP Ford extended 6 year warranty based on the fact that we were planning to keep the truck 10+, and on the Platinum model.... there are a lot of electronics. Moving forward to Oct. '18... 6 days after my extended warrant expired. On the way home from work my 3.5 EcoBoost engine with 63,376 miles started to knock and with no "service engine lights" I pulled over and shut the truck off. After being towed to the Lynch Ford dealership the description of the problem found the rod bearing had spun on the cranksaft causing metal debris to be throughout the engine assembly. We then worked with Jeff Krogman the "Service Manager" and also requested Dan Lynch "President" to be involved in the preliminary discussions of the motor failure. After confirming the motor failure causes, Jeff had to contact the Ford factory to determine if the company would help provide compensation. After a couple of days Jeff contacted us and said Ford would provide compensation based on the facts that we had always had our truck serviced (oil changes) at a Ford dealership as well as having purchased the Ford EXP plan and considered us a "Loyal Ford Customer". Lynch Ford provided us a "Loaner" vehicle at "no charge" once the decision was made to replace the motor. A new 3.5 EcoBoost motor with two new turbo's was installed a few days later. Four weeks to the day of our motor failure, we got our truck back from Lynch Ford. The truck was washed and detailed inside, I inspected the truck to make sure there wasn't any blemishes that weren't there prior to the motor work. The shop did a great job removing and re-installing the motor. Jeff explained all the details of the work that was completed and itemized the overall costs. The bill was actually $230.00 under the quoted price! I am disappointed that "The Ford Motor Company" did not cover the entire cost of the motor (35%) of the overall cost. This based on some internet information from other 3.5 EcoBoost Customers that have responded with very similar failures. But until there is a official recall of this motor we have to be "thankful" that Ford, and Dan Lynch Ford was willing to still provide compensation for this issue, and even though my warranty had expired. I feel Lynch Ford (Dan) did what he could to keep us as a satisfied customer. My new motor came with a 3 year/unlimited milage warranty..... I plan to run the wheels off this truck because I still like the truck!! Dick & Connie Friedl More

Great service! We recently purchased a used Pontiac G6 and it came with one key and no remotes for the keyless entry/remote start. We purchased new remotes from Amaz We recently purchased a used Pontiac G6 and it came with one key and no remotes for the keyless entry/remote start. We purchased new remotes from Amazon and discovered you need a scanner tool to program them to your car or take them to a shop that does. We checked with McGrath since we live in Marion and none of the small local dealers had the tool. They wanted $165 just to program two remotes. We called Lynch and they only charged $25! They were able to squeeze us in same day on a Saturday as well. My wife took it over and received outstanding, friendly service from Matthew Moses. She was also very impressed with the facility. Quick, friendly service at a great price! Definitely recommended! More

Lynch Solved My Problem I have a Ford Fusion that wouldn't fill all the way up when empty. Since I live in Cedar Rapids I took it to the Ford dealer in Cedar Rapids. The Ceda I have a Ford Fusion that wouldn't fill all the way up when empty. Since I live in Cedar Rapids I took it to the Ford dealer in Cedar Rapids. The Cedar Rapids dealer had the car for two days and never offered a loaner car. The Cedar Rapids dealer did replace the fuel filler neck, but that did not solve the problem. Took it back again and they said everything else checked out fine, yet it would still not fill all the way up. The Cedar Rapids dealer also said they would call me back regarding a recall, but never did. So I decided to call Lynch Ford Chevy since I only had a few thousand more miles under warranty and needed this fixed. They were very helpful. Lynch also had to have the car overnight but unlike the Cedar Rapids dealer, they offered a loaner vehicle at no cost. They too said everything checked out but decided to replace a sensor anyway. They even cleaned and washed my vehicle when I picked it up. The new sensor fixed the problem and it now fills all the way up. I would recommend everyone in Cedar Rapids drive a few extra miles to Mt. Vernon and deal with Lynch. I know I will from now on. More
