Maguire’s of Duncannon is FANTASTIC. I grew up in central PA but have lived in Pittsburgh since 2019. In 2023 I was visiting central PA and purchased a pre owned Bronco that I got for a I grew up in central PA but have lived in Pittsburgh since 2019. In 2023 I was visiting central PA and purchased a pre owned Bronco that I got for a great price w/ an excellent value on my trade. I work remotely so over the years I have gone to visit family and get my Bronco serviced at Maguire’s. 3 years and 50k miles of ownership later, I ran into my first issue with my Bronco. It was having a powertrain fault, so I had to take it to a close by Ford dealer in the Pittsburgh area. That Ford dealer tried to tell me I needed $11,000 worth of repairs and tried four times in that conversation to just pass me off to the sales department for a trade. I was suspicious of their motivations and intentions after that, so I paid an auto transporter to take my car from Pittsburgh to Duncannon because I trust the team at Maguire’s. They discovered there was a big repair needed but quoted less than half of what the dealer in Pittsburgh did and then even worked with corporate Ford to lower my out of pocket expense for this big repair job to just be for the labor. So, Maguire’s service department literally saved me $9,000 by having integrity, being honest and appreciating my business as a customer. I still have a repair bill (all cars need some costly-ish maintenance at some point) but me needing to pay about $2,000 vs the Ford dealer in Pittsburgh that asked me for $11,000 says everything anyone needs to know about the importance of a solid relationship with the dealer you do business with. Maguire’s Ford has absolutely EARNED my business for life. And a special shoutout to Service Advisor Jay but really their whole team at Maguire’s is amazing. More

Made a second appointment for service on a check engine light that came on next day after the car was inspected. Drop car off early in morning, dropped keys in drop box with all info on envelope. Thank goodness I stopped at end of day, they did not even know the car was there. Not worked on and keys still in drop box that evening. Turns out car had a emission issue and will need a new converter. If that is the issue I understand completely, but 1 day later the car doesn't pass emissions? After being inspected? Completely unacceptable something don't make sense to me about that. But does not surprise me a bit when they didn't even know the car was there for second time. I made two trips to this dealership for nothing on my DIME! I left them know my address is on the info. They can deliver the car when done. John Smith More
