Battery was cracked and leaking battery acid under the hood, car only has 23000 miles so it is under warranty, they had it 2 days to replace the battery and battery cable, did not have a replacement vehic hood, car only has 23000 miles so it is under warranty, they had it 2 days to replace the battery and battery cable, did not have a replacement vehicle available for me. When we picked it up the service dept didn’t clean any of the acid off under the hood, just put the new battery in on top of green acid, took it back to be cleaned up, they had it 15 min. and did not even take the battery back out to clean under it but said they cleaned it up. The tech and Bob said it wasn’t battery acid but splashes from a cleaner someone used. Husband removed the battery at home and took pictures of the green acid left in the battery tray and around all the bolts that hold the tray on. He cleaned it himself because they had already had 2 chances to get it right but didn’t seem to want to take the time to do it right. More
