Overall I am fairly pleased, however, there are some things to note. We were told our car would be ready by Wednesday, received a call on Tuesday that it was ready, on Friday we went to pick it up. The previous owner was a smoker and when we arrived to sign ppwk, the car was just then being "bombed" and "cleaned." More on that. We were also informed we could use our previous license plate a few days prior when we put a deposit on car, but when we arrived to finalize we were told we couldn't because it was last registered under both my name and my husband's name, and now I was purchasing and registering the car under my name only. We were extremely irritated about this because this is something we should have known before hand. Sparing you all the details, I was on call with DMV and the ladies in the back office regarding this just to find out that this is standard procedure. Ok, fine. But how come no one told us? Perhaps a meeting to share knowledge like many businesses do would be highly beneficial. Hint hint. For the office dept to know this and the floor sales & finance to not know this is ridiculous to me! It wasted hours of our time. After a whole new bunch of paperwork and phone calls, we finally got to keep our original plate. While all of this was going on, the car was still being "cleaned" and fumigated. Fast forward. I drove the car home to find out that the remote starter did not work after being told it "was just working." We were told to call the service dept. We did and they said they can't work on it bc it was an after market starter that was installed. It still isn't working and this problem not resolved. The car was wiped down and vacuumed however the center console storage is filthy, dog hair and just dirt is all inside. I suspect they just gave a quick vacuum maybe, or not. ALL areas of the driver side door pockets by handle and bottom of door storage pocket for water bottle and such is a disgusting filthy mess, as is all center console storage cubbies. I can see that it was wiped but everything was shoved into the corners and edges and not cleaned out. I will have to detail clean this vehicle!! I took photos to document however this survey will not allow for uploading of photos. I promise you, if you paid to have this service you would NOT be happy with the results. By the time we got the ppwk done, we still had to wait for the car to be finished with cleaning about another 20-30 minutes.....which we received a call that it was all ready for Tuesday mind you. I drive home with a BOMB of cleaning agents, I went to put windows down and the back driver side window wasn't working. Great! It didn't work all weekend despite multiple tries. Now it's working fine before the service appt so maybe it was just a cold weather fluke. Two big problems however, the front passenger door intermittently opens. We seriously could not open the car door. Now, this newly used car with only 23k miles has a malfunctioning passenger front door that has to be serviced. I got the car into my sloping driveway, put the parking brake on, yes car was in park, and the car rolled back about a foot before it caught. Backed car down, tried again, same thing happened. My husband said to put the car in neutral and put the brake on and we rolled all the way back into the street. Ok great! Need that fixed also. So.....what kind of vehicle inspections do you actually do? While I will say the people are very very friendly and helpful, I also feel manipulated and rushed into the process, promises were falsely and prematurely made, inadequate inspection and cleaning practices, and obviously there are issues regarding communication with each other in the business. I have purchased two other vehicles from Fuscillo Hyundai but since they became Matthews, I noticed a tremendous difference and honestly, I am unsure at this time if I would return again in the future.
