My wife and I love Mazdas, but we've never cared for their dealerships. Brought my wife's Miata for service in mid April and never received any requests for feedback on the service received. Front desk people are nice, but they can only do so much. The new location is far better than the old one in St. Pete, but their service levels are still meh. Unfortunately, Mazda Corporate seems not to care about the service their dealers provide and we don't have many Mazda dealer choices. I guess that unless you buy a luxury vehicle nowadays, the service you may expect from the mainstream car brands dealerships is subpar. Hey Mazda, by the way, a "free" lollipop will only do the trick of changing the perception on a subject on little kids, not on educated adult consumers. That's not to mention that the way this 'Dealer Rater' review option is worded only allows a Yes/No option to either recommend the dealer or not. With no other options for Mazda in this part of Florida. I guess the only option is to recommend. More

I brought my 20-year-old Mazda in for some outstanding recalls on the vehicle, during these repairs the front subframe was damaged, note that this was no fault of the dealership or the technician working on the car, rust and corrosion caused a seized bolt. I spent 10 years working in luxury car dealership service. It’s not when a customer comes in for a standard service appointment and everything goes smoothly that people and a place stand out, it’s when things don’t go smoothly, and they handle it perfectly. I was given a loaner car for the duration of the repair; Mayra communicated well and assured me before I even asked any questions that Mazda would be covering the associated repairs. Thank you, Mayra and Mazda of Clearwater for a great experience! More
I had an ongoing issue with my vehicle prior to going on vacation to the Clearwater area. My car then broke down and I limped it to the Clearwater garage. They had my car for a day and a half and sent me a vacation to the Clearwater area. My car then broke down and I limped it to the Clearwater garage. They had my car for a day and a half and sent me a video to tell me what the issue was and that it would cost me money to fix as it was an after market issue, caused by the dealer I bought the car from. Assured that this would fix the issue, I paid and went on my way. My car then broke down again, with the exact same issue, less than 30 miles later. I reached out to them via their contact page on their website, asking for help or advice, and received nothing by way of a response. They wrongly diagnosed by car, did not test it thoroughly after the work was completed, and then ignored me. Mayra was the lady who looked after me at the showroom, and she was first class in her approach, I can’t fault her or the communication she gave. The rest, a really poor show from Mazda. More
My daughter was looking for her first new car. She did her research and decided on a Mazda. She wanted to look at other cars as well to make sure she was choosing the right car for her. We were greeted by Mario Ruiz. He was the nicest guy I have ever dealt with at a car dealership. He spent no less than 3 hours with her helping her find the exact car she wanted. We couldn’t come to agreement on numbers…not from lack of trying on Mario’s part…but due to a limited budget. Most salesmen would walk away, knowing they weren’t going to get a huge commission. Not Mario. He put no pressure on her. He gave her every option, from buying new to used and helped her see what she could afford payment wise. We left and she was determined to keep looking. However, after going to several other dealerships, she decided to purchase her car from Mario. The entire process was so easy! She didn’t feel any stress or pressure. From the moment we walked in to the meeting with the finance guy…who was beyond kind and went out of his way to make her feel comfortable…it was a very positive experience. I believe Mazda of Clearwater has a lifetime customer now. My daughter is overjoyed with her purchase. I can’t thank the entire staff enough for their help and positive attitudes. In fact…I may need to buy my next car from Mario as well! They are a class act and I highly recommend them. More
